(Another filler chapter)

The streets of New York are bustling with life. There is all sorts of different smells from street vendors and restaurants. People talk loudly on phones to be heard over the raised cacophony of voices.

Right now, in the underground subway, music fills the air. An upbeat song that makes you feel alive. Some people crowd around the person as they wait for the train. The person strums their guitar, hitting against it to create beats.

"I'm born to run down rocky cliffs
Give me grace, burn my sins
Shattered glass and black holes
Can't hold me back from where I need to go

Oh oh oh

Yellow hills and valleys deep
I watch them move under my feet
Stranger things have come and gone
To see the world and take the throne

Don't hold back
Oh, I won't hold back"

The crowd clap along to the song once they got the beat.

"I'm gonna live my life like I'm gonna die young
Like it's never enough, like I'm born to run
I'm gonna spend my time like tomorrow won't come
Do whatever I want like I'm born to run.

I wanna see Paris, I wanna see Tokyo
I wanna be careless even if I break my bones
I'm gonna live my life like I'm gonna die young
Like it's never enough, like I'm born to run.

A winding road where strangers meet
To feel the love of a warm drink
My body moves, it's speaking loud
Don't have to say what I'm thinking now.

Don't hold back
Oh, I won't hold back."

The singer smiles as the crowd joins in on this next chorus.

All these things I've said and done
I live my life like I'm born to run
All these things I've said and done
I live my life like I'm born to run
All these things I've said and done
I live my life like I'm born to run.

I'm gonna live my life like I'm gonna die young
Like it's never enough, like I'm born to run
I'm gonna spend my time like tomorrow won't come
Do whatever I want like I'm born to run

I wanna see Paris, I wanna see Tokyo
I wanna be careless even if I break my bones
I'm gonna live my life like I'm gonna die young
Like it's never enough, like I'm born to run.

Oh oh oh."

As the song ends, the crowd erupts into loud cheers as they clap.

The singer bows, putting their guitar behind their back. "Thank you for the support. My name is Griffin. The song I just played is one I wrote, called 'I'm Born to Run.' It came to me last week, and this is the first time I have ever played in public. It was nerve racking." The crowd laugh as she talks. "You may be wondering, 'how old is that person?' Well, I'm fifteen, and I am still growing. Shocker, I know." As the train arrives, people throw money into the guitar case on the ground.
