I stood behind the boulder, it was night time by the time we planned our attack and drove to the cemetery. We were working under the assumption that Jake had thought Sam was dead, and that I was gone so the plan was for me to show myself first and then everyone else would come out as back up.
I heard some twigs snapping and I looked over to Dean who was stood by the boulder next to me before stepping out in front of Jake with my gun extended. He sighed upon seeing me but wasn't startled.
"I figured that you might show." He shook his head.
"You tell the demon you killed me?"
He shook his head, "Nah, but he said you weren't going to be a problem." He patted his arm. "Thanks for the wound by the way, real comfortable."
I clenched my jaw. "Least I could do."
He smiled at me and then frowned, looking out behind me as everyone else stepped out from the shadows.
"Howdy Jake." Sam said as he took a stand beside me.
Jake shook his head, now he was stunned. "Wait... you were dead. I killed you."
Sam scoffed. "Yeah? Well next time, finish the job."
Jake shook his head again. "I did! I cut clean through your spinal cord, man. You can't be alive." Sam looked over to me and I looked down, not able to meet his questioning glance. Jake stepped backwards and Bobby raised his gun.
"Okay, just take it real easy there, son."
Jake screwed his face up. "And if I don't?"
I stepped closer to him; pressing my gun to his forehead. "Wait and see." His eyes crossed up to look at the gun and then he smiled at me. "You wouldn't kill me before, you had two chances and all you did was poke me in the arm." I clicked back the safety and raised my eyebrow. "Third times a charm."
He nodded slowly before looking behind me and laughing.
"What are you smiling at, you little bitch?" Dean shouted angrily and Jake continued to laugh until his eyes settled on Ellen. "Hey Lady, do me a favor. Put that gun to your head." I clenched my jaw and briefly looked over my shoulder as I saw Ellen shakily bringing the gun to her head, she was trying to fight it but she couldn't. "See that Ava girl was right. Once you give in to it, there's all sorts of new Jedi mind tricks you can learn." He looked down at me still smiling. "Let her go." I said through gritted teeth, pressing my gun harder into his forehead.
"Shoot him." Ellen trembled.
"You'll be mopping up skull before you get a shot off." He stared at me stoically and I released a breath, before slowly pulling my gun away and stepping backwards. "Everybody, put your guns down. Except you, sweetheart." He said, looking over to the rest of the group, Sam, Dean and Bobby chucked their guns to the floor as Jake reached into his pocket, pulling out a gun. It was the colt, I recognised it from pictures that Dean had shown me. He began walking over to the crypt and used the barrel, inserting it into a clip on the end. It slotted in perfectly and I looked over my shoulder, seeing Bobby and Dean pulling the gun out of Ellen's hand. I raised mine up, all the fury from the past few days filling me as I shot Jake, straight in the chest. He gasped and fell forward into the crypt. I walked over to him, Sam following me. I looked up to Sam and he nodded. I had to do it. I shot him twice more, not feeling guilty for a second as his blood splattered over my face. Dean rushed over and grabbed my shoulders, spinning me to face him. I wiped the blood from my cheek and he sighed, looking down at Jake who was dead on the ground. A clicking sound from behind me made me turn, the five of us watching as different engravings on the wall shifted.
