"Yeah, so, that's it." Jake shrugged, looking at me after giving me a full detailed tour of his place.

It suit him very much, this cozy space of his. I could one hundred percent see him living in such a cute space like this.

I never thought in my life that I'd be living in the same place as a member from an extremely famous boyband.

"It's cute, suits you very well." I chuckled, looking around like a little tourist.

He just stared at me, a glimmer shining into his eyes.

I looked back at him, his gaze fixated on me with a smug look on his face - as if he wanted to question me on something.

".. What..?" I looked at Jake, confused and not going to lie, a little nervous.

"Be honest with me, you know what happened between the two of us that one day." Jake referred over to the day we played seven minutes in heaven.

I could feel the pounding of my heart increase it's rate, I had no excuses, or anyone to help switch topics. It was just me and Jake, in this house, with the tension skyrocketing through the roof.

"Well.. what difference would it make if I even said I did - you know by company rules - we can't date." I told him straight, giving a sigh as I turned around and looked around the place.

My body temperature was probably exceeding limits right now.

Jake followed along, that still smug facial expression printed on his face. He leant on a wall, crossing his arms and staring at me as I turned around and caught his gaze once more.

"Do the companies have to know though?" Jake suggested, a slight raise of his eyebrow insinuating that we could keep things on the low.

I looked to the ground, then gave a brief sigh.

"Jake, look at my manager compared to yours. Imagine if Mingho found out we were dating, you know what he'd probably do to my ass?" I looked back up at his face, and his gaze softening, a sympathetic look gradually appearing into his eyes.

He stood up from leaning on the wall, and approached me, closely. His hands gradually rest at either sides of my cheeks, staring down at me. The room was silent, only thing audible were the rhythmic breathing of us two.

Without another word being said, Jake pulled my lips into a kiss, a relatively long but relatively short one. I didn't hesitate - nor resist - the two of us knew fine well we shouldn't be doing this, matter of fact, we shouldn't even be in the same place together again, but we were.

Jake pulled away, staring into my eyes endearingly once more.

"Then, let's just keep it on the low as best as we can." Jake softly spoke, in a low tone, his hands still cupped on my cheeks that had probably flushed the brightest shade of pink possible.

Jake walked off, I stood there for a brief second, trying to rekindle my thoughts all together.

I quickly paced right after him, he was casually taking things out from the fridge in the kitchen.

"Jake, you know we can't do th-"

"Do you like kimchi pancakes? I'm gonna make some." Jake cut me off, completely unphased about me trying to abide by rules.

I stared at him, just looking up at me with such constellations settling in his dark pupils. He gave a light smile, waiting for an answer.

".. Yeah. I do." I gave a sigh, defeated. I couldn't get rid of my feelings for him, even if it was considered illegal in the idol industry, but this wasn't going to help either sides.

Especially me.

I turned away from the kitchen, heading to the room Jake had kindly let me stay in. I sat on the side of the bed, giving out an exasperated sigh.

I pulled out my phone, and to my own surprise, Mingho and the rest of my members had decided to try and call my phone.

Wow, so now you want to talk to me? It's a bit late.

I dialed for Taeri first thing, and she actually picked up rather quick.

"Haerin! Holy shit! I heard what happened, are you okay? Where the hell are you girl? Whoever did that is fucked in the head." Taeri exclaimed through the phone, evidently worried.

"You'll never guess where I'm at." I gave a low chuckle, looking to the ground. For some reason, I felt a little despair. Yes, I was at Jake's house - and I suppose we were on the verge of a relationship - but having to keep it lowkey, will kind of suck.

"Who? Where?" Taeri eagerly asked, "Can I come over? I'm so sorry I couldn't pick up, I was unpacking, oh my god girl, I'm seriously sorry."

"I'm at Jake's, that's all there is to it." My lips let out a sigh, and there was silent from the other end for a short period of time.

"Why do you sound so depressed, isn't that a good thing?? Don't you two have something going on?" Taeri inquired, confused as to my tone.

"Taeri, I'm an idol, not a regular civilian who can just walk out into the streets of Seoul and remain untouched." I told her, and she finally got the memo of why I sounded like this.

"Ah fuck you." Taeri abruptly spoke, and I furrowed my eyebrows slightly, a little shocked to her reply, "Just keep it on the low."

Exactly the same thing Jake said.
