As I watched Reece take off the captains armband with pain in his eyes and hand it over to Conor.
Sadly I couldn't be with Reece tonight as our 3 year old daughter had been ill the past couple days.
As I watched him on the tv as he sat on the bench being forced off as he went down.
Reece he's been struggling with injuries for a while now and can't catch a break at all, I've been trying to support him no matter what.
As Ella is his number one supporter she will be devastated to see her dad injured once again.
It later on and I heard the door open as Ella was fast asleep I looked over and Reece walked in with his hood up covering his face.
I then ran up to him and gave him a hug straight away, "I can't catch a break" I blurted out of emotion.
"I know babe, I know how much the club and football means to you" I told him as I looked up to him and wiped his tear away.
"But you'll come back stronger i already know it" I added on as I gave him a kiss.
As he kept our hug for a good few minutes we both heard a tired voice, "daddy" Ella said as she kept hold of her teddy bear and ran over.
Reece he then picked her up, "what you doing out of bed princess?" He asked her.
"I'm sorry" she said to him softly.
"Why you sorry" he said to her adjusting her hair out her face.
"That your hurt again" she said to him.
"It's okay princess that's means daddy can spend more time with you and mummy" he told her as she rested her head on his shoulder.
He then put her to bed and toke a long shower I decided to take my show up into our room as I waited for Reece to finish up in the bathroom.
Reece he then came out in his pants with the towel round his shoulders.
"How you feeling?" I asked him as he walked through.
"Fucking sore" he said as he got into bed, we then cuddled up in bed.
"They think I'm going to have hamstring surgery" Reece told me.
"We will be there for you no matter what babe okay I won't leave your side" I told him.
"I love you" he said to me, I then looked up to him.
"I love you too babe" I said as I kissed him.
