The Angel Has Fallen

Chapter 24

Jungkook's POV

I looked at Seokjin from outside of their room, waiting for him to finish his last class. I am not sure if it's just me, but he looks really sad. I think what happened earlier had an impact to him. Even though he is listening diligently to their professor, the way he looks is kind of different.

I was looking at him intently, when Yoongi tapped my shoulder.

"What's up?" I asked Yoongi, seeing him and Jimin waving at me.

"I knew you'd be here. Shall we go to the mall with your angel?" Yoongi asked.

"I---I will check with him." I said. I am not sure if Seokjin will be comfortable going out with other people but maybe he can also take his friend if he would agree.

"He's so beautifully handsome." Jimin said in awe while looking at my angel.

I smiled being proud that the man he is talking about is mine.

I stood straight when they all stood up inside the room, meaning the class has ended.

I fixed the backbag on my shoulder, waiting at him with a smile. His friend, Hoseok, saw me first and pointed me at Seokjin.

When he looked at me, I waved at him with a smile. He smiled a little bit only. I am sure now that he is not okay.

His friend then tapped his shoulder and went to the other side.

"Hey!" I said as he walked towards me. "Are you okay?" I asked in a whisper.

"I am." He answered timidly.

I decided to make him happy again everyday because this is a face I do not want to see again on him.

"I'm Jimin!" I heard Jimin say as he extended his hand to Seokjin.

Seokjin shyly smiled at him and held the hand for a shake.

"S-Seokjin." He answered.

"Oh my god! Your skin is so soft and your voice is so angelic!" Jimin said fanboying over my boyfriend as he started touching his hand more.

I pulled his shirt and blocked Seokjin from him.

"That's too much touching." I said to him and Jimin pouted.

Seokjin smiled genuinely, at last.

"Seokjin, Yoongi and Jimin are inviting us to the mall. Are you good for us to join them?" I asked hoping for a positive response.

"Join us! It will be fun to have someone else other than these two. They're just too boring to be with." Jimin said.

Seokjin smiled at him and nodded. "Sure." He said.

"Perfect! Let's walk together!" Jimin said taking Seokjin's hand and resting his head on his shoulder while they walked.

Seokjin's eyes widened and looked at me, as if asking if it's fine. I smiled at him. Maybe, Jimin can help in making him happier.

"I'm slowly losing my boyfriend." Yoongi said with a sigh.

"Make sure to claim him back. I wouldn't share my angel with anyone." I said to Yoongi as we walked behind them.

Jimin just kept on talking things to Seokjin and Seokjin either smiles or laughs at him. I smiled seeing Seokjin feel lighter with my friends.

"They are cute." Yoongi said.

"They're not. Me and Seokjin are cute together."

I was surprised when Jimin and Seokjin stopped walking and looked at me.

I blushed realizing that they just heard what I said.

Jimin smirked and took Seokjin's hand again, but I was surprised when he also took my hand and made our hands hold each other.

I saw Seokjin blush as we walked holding hands together, not caring about the others. We laughed and smiled together as we tell each other a lot of things walking towards the mall.

"I agree, you two look cute together." Yoongi said with a smirk from behind who's currently  having his arm on Jimin's shoulder. Seokjin also looked at them and blushed when he saw them kissed each other, with a quick peck, without a care with other students looking at them.

"Kook! This shop is nice. Most of their clothes will fit you." Jimin said as we stopped over on one of the clothes stores.

"We can buy next time." I said, worried that Seokjin might be uncomfortable.

"We can buy now." Seokjin said.

"Come on. This one would look good on you." Yoongi said from the inside, as he took one of the shirts, showing it to me.

Seokjin pulled my hand so that we can go with Jimin and Yoongi inside.

"Stay here and choose shirt for him." Jimin said. He then pulled Seokjin away from me. "Let's look for pants for him... and for us." Jimin said winking at Seokjin.

Seokjin just laughed at Jimin's naughtiness and we let them.

"Jimin likes him a lot, and it's not always that Jimin would like someone. He's really good at people." Yoongi said.

"He likes you."

"See? I told you he's good at judging people." Yoongi answered.

I rolled my eyes at him and proceeded in choosing different shirts that I can wear for school.

Seokjin's POV

I was busy checking on the pants when Jimin went beside me looking for some other designs.

"I know you are not okay earlier." He said.

I looked at him.

"I know how you feel, I also felt the same before." He said smiling at me. "When Yoongi and I started dating, people also judged me. I was the one who courted him." He said and chuckled.

I was surprised but did not interfere with his story.

"Yoongi and Jungkook were both famous, both are also snobbish. It was hard to get inside them but I was really attracted to Yoongi. I told myself that I would still work hard to make him see me and when he finally gave attention to me, of course people started talking. They talked how I pursue Yoongi and how desperate I am.

Some referred to me as slut because how I court him instead of him with me. I did not care.

Only me and Yoongi knows what is within our relationship. I am happy with him and he is with me.

Whatever you hear from others, it does not define you nor your relationship with Jungkook. Jungkook is a very kind man and I am sure he will protect you from anyone who would hurt you." He said with a smile.

I realized that he is right and he has a very pure heart. I am glad Jungkook invited me to join them, Jimin made me very comfortable.

"Are you done here?" I heard Jungkook's voice behind.

I looked at him and gave him the designs of pants I chose for him. Jimin also gave him his.

"Get your size, man. I am hungry." Yoongi said.

I looked at them and Jungkook nodded, as he requested for his sizes and assisted by someone towards the fitting room.

I reflected again on what Jimin mentioned earlier. He is right, I said to myself. No one should judge me and my relationship with Jungkook and I should not let anyone get in my head.

"Seokjin, let's go buy some ice cream." Jimin said pulling me outside the store.

"B-but..."

"Jungkook and Yoongi can handle it. Let's go." He said and I just followed him towards an ice cream shop.
