(Georgie's P.O.V.)
I leaned against the kitchen cabinet, crossing my arms. Looking up through my eyelashes at Alfie and Tommy. Then the telephone ran and Alfie lifted his hand up, pointing at it "that will probably be for you, won't it?". I narrow my eyes at him, glaring at him for a moment before walking towards the house phone to answer it. "Hello?" I spoke without emotion. Staying silent to allow the other end to speak. It was the oldest of my brothers, Arthur. "You're out?". I turned briefly to face Solomons, realising what he had done. Getting my brother out of prison. Yet, I didn't trust his motivation behind it. I hung up the phone and walked back to my original spot. "Right, so that will be your side of the street swept up, won't it?" Alfie began as if he had done me a great deal, "now where is mine? What have you got for me?". This time Alfie had turned his attention to my brother. What have these two gotten up to? I asked myself as I watched the two of them coarse in business. Tommy grabbed a contracted he had drafted up and laid it on the table. "Signed by the minister of the empire himself" he said handing Alfie the contract, "which means you can put your rum in our shipments and no one at Poplar docks will lift a canvas". I listened as Alfie hummed reading the document "You know what, I'm not even going to have my lawyer look at that". "No, no, it's all legal" Tommy stated. "You know what, mate, I trust you. That's that. Done" Alfie remarked tipping his hat at us. "There is one thing though that we do need to discuss". There it was. "What would that be?" I asked Alfie, who responded "it says here, 20 percent paid to me of your export business". "As we agreed on the telephone" Tommy replied, "no, no, no" Alfie butted in, "you see I had my lawyer draft this up. For us, just in case" the jew said placing a contract on the table. He pushed it more towards my side and so he rose to his feet. Clearly wanting to do the business with me, instead both me and Tommy. Alfie leaned forward and pointed out exactly where he wanted me to read "hear this. It says that.. right here, that a 100% of your business goes to me". Alfie even was so rude that he tapped his finger right on the 100%. I held narrowed eyes on Alfie before telling Tommy to get out. But my brother refused. "Thomas, fuck off" I sneered with gritted teeth. My brother scoffed but got up none. Once my brother was out the room, I grabbed a cigarette and lit it up. "Sign just there, is it?" I questioned giving a small nod to the contract. "It's there, but.. don't worry about it, right, because it is a totally legal binding. All you have to do is sign the document and transfer the whole lot over to me" Alfie finished before leaning back into his chair. I bring the cigarette up towards my lips, breathe and push the smoke away. Watching Alfie for a second. "I didn't gather you for the funny type, Alfie". "What?" He responded seriously, "I'll give you 100% of my business?" I asked to which he nodded "yeah". A smirk comes onto my lips "why?". "Can't a man take care of his favorite girl. I don't want to burden you with the responsibility of keeping a business afloat" he responded with a cheeky grin. I watched him for a second before chuckling "you know, it's too bad we are not having this conversation out in my garden. The plants would love the fertilizer". I let the sarcasm role over my tongue, as I called him out, "now stop bullshitting me. What's the real reason?". "Oh come on, sweetheart. You're a big girl, you know the road". He was talking about the fact he had taken Arthur and Michael out of prison. And now I needed to repay the favor. Which was giving the complete export side of Shelby Limites to him. Of course I wasn't going to let that happen, so I was going to play dirty. "Now, look, it's non-fucking negotiable. That's all you need to know. So all you have to do is sign the fucking contract" Again Alfie leaned forward, tapping his finger on said contract. "Just sign here?" I asked pointing at the document again "with your pen" Alfie confirmed, "I understand" I nodded simply, "good" Alfie said, "get on with it". I smirked at him "I don't have a pen". "Georgie, I'm going to fucking shoot you. All right?" Alfie responded getting a bit annoyed, but I could tell it was actually just a bluff. I pushed myself of from the table I was leaning against and began to talk "you're not going to shoot me". I continued slowly walking up behind him. His head slightly turning, so he could watch me from the corner of his eyes. "You're failing to consider the form" I continued before leaning down to whisper in his ear "I did fuck you like you've never been fucked before". A grin tugging at his lips as he shifted in his chair after hearing my responce. Amused eyes watched me as I went back to my original spot. "Okay, well, considering the form, I would be more than happy to agree for you to sign over 65% of your business to me. Make it-" Alfie responded, once again tapping the document, "65%? No deal" I stated while keeping my eyes firmly fixed on Alfie's face. His eyes looking me up and down, taking me in like he had seen me undress for him when we last shared a bed. "Based on the expierence" he said and paused momentarily, "45%". "30%" I replied back, "oh, fuck off, sweetheart, that's far too little" Alfie scoffed. I shrugged my shoulders and turned to pour myself a glass of whiskey "it's your loss". I turned back to face Alfie and took a sip watching him. Alfie looked at me and held my gaze with his own, realising I wasn't changing my mind. He scoffed leaning back

I clicked my tongue "already did that"

I clicked my tongue "already did that". Alfie eyes snapped at me, barely able to contain the amusement of hearing me talk about our sexual endeavors. "Listen, I'll give you 35%. That's your lot" he then said making up his mind. I put down my glass and looked at him before smirking "it seems like our form will continue moving forward". I turned to look at the door to the room where Tommy was seated before calling him back inside. "We're back in business with, Mr Solomons" I told him simply, taking out another cigarette.
