Only you

I felt bad that Lena would second guess herself about our relationship. I don't know why she does. I try to always show her that I only have my eyes on her.

She would call me any chance she got a break. I didn't mind but I knew why she did it. She wanted to see what I was doing. She wanted to see who I was around.

I didn't ever mind. It was just her being in her head. Sometimes I found it draining but I would continue to put up for it for the rest of my life because at the end of the day I love her.

I knew she was weary about me leaving for a work trip for a week. I felt bad leaving her. We never like being separated for so long.

I wasn't looking forward to going home. We had got in an argument just a day before I was due to come back.

She called me during the trip and she thought I was doing something fishy.

I tried to reassure her but we're so far away right now.

The minute I got back I went to see Lena. I missed her and this needed to be sorted out.

I had got back pretty early so I knew she was at her office.

I had a whole speech prepared for when I saw her. But when I walked into her office she was passed out on top of the work on her desk.

I hated when she burned herself out. I told her she needs to sleep at a normal time. I thought she was. She always did when she was around me.

I gently picked her up and moved her to the couch in her office. I laid her down the best I could to make sure she wasn't going to be sore when she woke up.

I cleaned up her desk a little before leaving to get her something to eat for when she woke up.

When I came back she was back at her desk doing work.

"I'm surprised you're up. You looked like you were deep in sleep" I said as I made my way over to her. I placed the food on her desk as I sat down in the chair across from it.

"So you're the one that moved me." I nodded my head staring at her with a concerned look.

"Please don't look at me like that Y/n" she sighed. "Can you just eat?" She opened the bag taking the contents out. "Thank you" she mumbled.

She moved her work to the side temporarily so she could eat.

"When did you get back?" "Like two hours ago." She hummed as she took a bite of the food.

"You know we have to talk" I said quietly. She continued eating waiting for me to continue.

"Do you really think I would ever cheat on you?" "No" she spoke quietly. "What did you think I was doing down there?" "I don't know. My mind just started thinking of a bunch of things that you could be doing. I'm sorry. I keep doing this to you and you haven't even given me a reason to accuse you of cheating or for me to think you're lying to me about anything." "I get you being in your head about things. I know when I'm not here your mind starts to wonder." "I'm sorry." "You don't have to apologize. I'm not mad. I just want you to know that I wouldn't ever do that to you."

"I know. I don't know why I worry so much when you're gone." "I know it's hard to just not have that thought but just talk to me next time. I'll always be honest with you. You're the only person I'm interested in. Every time I'm away from you you're all I think about. I love you. Only you." "I love you too. I just hate when you're away." "I don't like being away either but at least I don't have to do it much."
