Chapter 54- Lets play a game~(UnderVerse? Multiverse)

Error tries to keep his multiverse from being destroyed...the result isn't quite what he would have expected or wanted.

Nightmares Castle

Error sat stiffly on a sofa in the living room, a room that was somehow completely undamaged but unsure how long that would last, praying that he could manage to keep all of this chaos contained but didnt have much hope. It felt very much like he was dealing with a live bomb with zero clue how to disarm it, unsure he had ever been so stressed in his life.

He kept his gaze on the three 'monsters' doubting they were anything so simple sitting on the opposite couch as them and ignoring the muffled noises from the idiot beside him. He had used his strings to bind Nightmare to keep them quiet, refusing to do this alone and ready to throw them as a distraction if needed, almost tempted to try and drag Ink into this as well.

He would have dragged the whole stupid Council into this if he didnt think the morons would make it worse, unsure how anything got done with all the arguing they did. It was still amusing how they thought that he didnt know the exact AU they gathered in, often watching in the AntiVoid for his own amusement, almost feeling pity that Blue was the only one that had an iota of common sense.

He twitched when Vega shred another apple plushy he was handed, idly wondering if he could do the same for his own apple twins when they got fussy, thinking Nightmare could benefit from a stress toy and not just impulsively angering random gods!

He stiffened when he saw the smallest child wake up, watching as their eyelight zeroed on the bound Nightmare and silently snarled at the Guardian which at least made Nightmare shut up.

"..pathetic Guardian"

"Thats right, Star. He is pathetic. Unable to do a single thing right or defend his Castle. I bet he even dares to call himself a Prince when he acts more like a feral dog"

Vega said tauntingly, ready to stoke the fires again as he felt he had been far too good lately trying to reign in Star, ready to let someone else do that for now. Besides, this was supposed to be family bonding and he wasn't technically an adult anymore, so he could just sit back and watch the chaos.

Star glared at the bound Guardian, still unhappy with them but settling down when he realised he was being held by Broken Negativity who didnt feel as broken anymore. He was distracted when he realised they had a much better name now in their CHECK, pleased at the meaning and glad they were following the theme he had with Vega.

"Mine!"

Sirius the only name he approved of from the list Vega gave, gently patted Star's back when they began to purr and cling to his side, unbothered by the possessive edge as it was pretty obvious how the babybones felt about him.

This whole family he had suddenly been forcibly adopted into was just as bad, a golden tentacles wrapped tightly around his arm showed that Vega was very much on the same page. It was almost amusing how Vega refused to admit that they liked him, even if the emotions said very much the opposite.

His purple eyelights locked on with Error, almost wanting to smile at the flinch that garnered. It was nice he was able to achieve such a thing even if he was no longer covered in corruption, idly making another apple plushy for Vega to destroy.

It was also nice being able to use the magic he had hidden deep inside himself, a part of him instinctively knowing it would be bad if anyone from his old multiverse noticed it. Being near Vega and Star was like a puzzle piece clicking in place, feeling more confident to use his magic, his SOUL almost lighter whenever he did so.

"Why aren't you saying anything, Error?! Just kick them out or give them what they want so they will leave my home"

"Shut up! I knew i should have just dumped you in the AntiVoid with your minions"

"You did what?!"

"It was that or i dusted them. Consider yourself lucky. Now stop talking before I decide to do the same for you!"

He held tighter onto the two babybones when he saw them immediately snap their heads towards the local Nightmare who had somehow broken through the string on their mouth like wolves spotting a deer, watching in almost morbid curiosity how they were making things worse for themselves.

It was almost fascinating in a way to watch someone stubbornly ignore their instinct, as the Nightmare's expression was stern and annoyed but their tentacles were stiff and clearly fearful whenever either babybones shifted.

"I think we can come to a compromise that we can all agree on"

Sirius spoke gently up to interrupt the ongoing argument, smiling almost benevolently if it wasnt for the manic sparkle in his eyes that showed nothing good would come from what he was about to say.

Error suddenly wondered who the true threat of the three siblings actually was, recalling all the stories from the mortals about the star named 'Sirius' which was sometimes linked to instability and burning, it feeling very much like it was an omen.

"Run little rabbits. Run! Dont make this too easy"

"Im going to eat you when I catch you, pathetic Guardian~"

Sirius was rather proud with his suggestion and how well it was working to distract the children and give himself a break as well. He casually sipped the tea he had made himself in the semi ruined kitchen, enjoying the moment of peace and thinking it was a rather nice day outside.

Now that he had a bit more time to compile everything in his mind he felt a bit calmer, pulling out his phone when he saw there was a message from his new 'parents'. That was still a weird thing to think of but so far it wasnt as bad as he expected, snapping a picture of Vega and Star chasing Nightmare and Error like a pack of starving wolves and sending it to End.

He would add in a few more 'limitations' to the chase in a bit to make the game last longer for the kids and give the others a chance, not thinking it would be long until the chase would move to the rest of the multiverse and thinking this was a good way to tire them out.

Ink: *Busy sketching and barely paying attention* Yeah, paranoid

Error: *Watching from the AntiVoid while eating chocolate* This is almost better then Undernovela!

Sirius: *Smiling with fake innocence that doesnt hide his mania* I have a way to solve this all?

Nightmare and Error: *Shivers going down their back and contemplating just running for it*

Vega: *Begrudgingly impressed by Sirius chaotic side* I really did pick the best name for you!

Sirius: *Sipping tea and sighing happily at the quiet moment*

Vega and Star: *Acting like feral wolves as they chase Nightmare and Error*

End: *Looking at the text from his late last child* Aww, look how well they are all getting along

Origin: *Smiling happily as he followed Jammy who is trying to destroy an AU* Im so glad our children are having so much fun here!
