"...I don't understand. Are you sure you know what you are doing, Glitchy?"

"It doesn't look like it, Brom. I'm starting to wonder if they can even use Code. Do you think they were just lying about their skills?"

"Woof!"

"...hmm, i guess you have a point"

Perhaps at one point in his life Error 404 would have been insulted to be blatantly questioned about his skills, maybe even boasted and shared his many feats to show off just how talented he was. He might have even grown angry, showing first hand what a few flicks of his fingers could do, having the power of what most compared to a god in the palm of his hand!

...but he'd lost what was left of his pride and ego a month ago, now feeling nothing more than a piece of furniture or some old trinket in the attic that people couldn't bring to throw away as it still had some sort of use. That is the only reason he could think of why he was still alive right now, pretty sure he would have dusted without the magic supplement he was force fed by Origin after all his many portal creations.

A small part of him that wasn't perpetually exhausted felt a bit embarrassed he had to use a supplement of all things, something usually used by sick monsters or young children but right now he barely had enough energy to care. That his eyes were even open now was a miracle and the standard he was counting as successful right now, everything else simply a bonus.

He had somehow made a portal big enough to carry this insane family to a realm thought impossible, used nearly all of his magic in the process and lost some of his mind as well and now he was forced to act as some sort of teacher for this little devil.

He sighed deeply as a small hand patted his cheek in what he might have assumed was mocking if he didn't know by now that Star was simply like that. It really didn't help....

"I'm listening, Star. Why don't you tell me what you see and i'll help you from there."

He tried to pretend he was teaching Error again but with Error it had been so much easier as they actually used the same words for things and were basically a blank slate coming to Coding which worked perfectly to him.

"The angry numbers are hissing but the blue ones are wobbling unhappily and a few are chipping off everytime i touch them.."

...with Star it felt like he was speaking to someone in a different language, not only having to teach them but also having to decode what was being said to him. It was tiring, a headache slowly building in the back of his skull with it not helped by the chattering form the rest of the family a few feet away.

"Right..let me give you an example of what i'm trying to show you"

Vega whistled as he watched the utter train wreck, the sheer patience combined with tired apathy the odd Error was exuding was something to be praised considering they had been at it for two hours so far and they still hadn't gone past the basics yet. At least that's what he figured out going by Jammy's mutters.

Talking about his other strange sibling, the 'Voices' Jammy hadn't stopped talking about seemed to have quietened down, even if End was still annoyingly nonchalant about it.
