Confirmation: Everything is Fine

With the previous night's incident still fresh in everyone's memory, it was no surprise that an air of unease was filling the classroom. A disheartened Kaguya sat at her desk while trying her best to make sense of it all but gets interrupted by Shido who walks over to her along with Tohka and asks, "how's Yuzuru holding up?"

With a disheartened sigh, she replies, "I don't know. After what happened yesterday, she locked herself in her room and hasn't come out since, and when I knocked on her door this morning, she didn't even answer. I honestly don't even know if she'll ever come out."

Though he wasn't exactly surprised to hear this, Shido still felt saddened to hear this while Tohka adds, "I even tried luring her out with some yummy snacks but that didn't work."

Hearing this only adds to the misery that they all felt while Shido asks while looking over at Kaguya, "then what should we do?"

After thinking for a moment, she replies, "well since Kotori already told us that Yuzuru's vitals haven't shown any signs of turning, I think the best thing to do is give her time. Even if she doesn't come back to school, I'll make sure to check on her."

With no other options, Shido and Tohka simply agree but with something coming to mind, Kaguya asks, "what was Burchard doing out there anyways?"

Having forgotten all about Burchard's roll in last night, Shido has to look up into the air while thinking aloud, "oh yeah?"

Becoming confused, Shido looks back at the other two while saying, "he said a friend told him about the concert."

A bit thrown off by this, Kaguya responds, "really? But I thought you said Diva was scared to death of boys?"

Shido nods in response then replies, "it seemed that way, the second she saw me, she freaked out, then...."

Before he could finish his sentence, he gets interrupted by the classroom door slowly opening but for some reason, it remains empty. A bit confused by this, they all look over, only to collectively be shocked to see Yuzuru slowly walking in. Though she was walking a bit stiffer than usual and sporting an emotionless expression, Shido was nevertheless relieved to see her and while looking back to Kaguya, he says, "that's a relief, I was.... Worried...."

His sentence slowly trails off when he sees the look of shock that Kaguya was currently sporting. Becoming confused, Shido asks, " what's wrong?"

While continuing to sport her shocked expression, Kaguya replies, "this isn't good."

With her answer not helping his confusion in the slightest, he asks, "what isn't good?"

Before Kaguya could respond, Yuzuru finally made it over to them and with an unflinching, almost robotic monotone voice, Yuzuru tells them, "Greetings: Good morning."

Caught off guard by the coldness in her voice, a somewhat frightened Tohka couldn't help but ask, "uh-uh Yuzuru? Are you okay?"

After a brief pause, Yuzuru's head slowly cranks over and looks down at her with an unflinching gaze while replying coldly, "Reassurance: everything is fine."

With her answer sending a cold chill down Tohka's spine, all she could do was frantically nod while Yuzuru's head slowly cranks over and looks at Shido who looks back at her with unease while asking, "question: what were you talking about?"

Not exactly surprised by the question, her unflinching gaze still filled him with unease as he attempted to respond, "uh-uh, well uh...."

Thankfully for him, Ms Tamae walks into class while saying, "good morning class!!! I hope you all are as excited as I am to learn so everyone take their seats!!!"
