Chapter 11- Found Someone.

Jesses POV

I wake up to figure out that I've been shot. And that Sophia is still missing.

Daryl hasn't really left my side since I woke up. Maybe once or twice to go and pee but that's it.

"You should be looking for Sophia." I say to Daryl.

"Dale, Rick and Shane are doin that." he says.

"I ain't going anywhere Daryl. Please just for today, go and look for Sophia." I beg.

"Wanna sit outside?" he asks.

I nod and he helps me hobble onto the porch swing.

"Thank you. Now go and save my best friend." I say punching his shoulder.

"Love you" he says as he throws his crossbow over his shoulder.

I smile as he walks into the forest.

"Hey there." I look over to see Carl.

"Hey." I smile.

"How you feeling?" He asks. "considering I just got shot three days ago, pretty good." I chuckle.

"Where's Daryl?" Carl asks.

"Went out looking for Soph" I say.

"She's coming home I know she is." he says.

"Me too." I smile.

"Wanna go for a walk?" he asks.

"Sure!" I say surprised.

Carl grabs my hand and we walk hand in hand into the forest path.

After about ten minutes of walking we come across a walker stuck in mud.

We begin to throw rocks at it and then it starts getting aggressive and start to try and get out.

That's when we got scared and we ran back to the farm.

"Never are we ever going back in there alone." I say to Carl.

"Agreed." he breaths.

"Carl?! Jesse?! is that you?" Lori Calls from the porch.

"Uh oh." Carl says.

Lori makes her way down to us and scolds up for leaving Andreas sight.

"Inside. both of you, now." she says pointing to the house.

We both slowly make our way inside.

"Lets play checkers!" Carl's says braving the box from the TV stand.

"I'm gonna beat you" I say confidently.

"HERSHEL! WE NEED YOUR HELP!" That's Daryl's yell.

Hershel runs outside.

Then Daryl and Rick come in with a boy (who looks really familiar) missing an arm.

"Lori take the kids upstairs." Rick tells Lori.

"C'mon lets go guys." She says quickly removing us from the situation.

"What happened to him?" I ask Lori.

"I don't know sweetie" Lori says.

The Next Day.

Carl, Lori and I spent the night in Maggie's room since the boy who was missing an arm was in Mine and Carl's room.

Carl and I sneak out if loris grasp and we make our way. Downstairs.

"Dad what happened to that boy?" Carl asks Rick.

"He was bit, we amputated his arm to save him." he says.

"What's his name.?" I ask.

"Kaiser Dixon." He looks at me.

"My third cousin?!" I run into the room.

There he was Kaiser Dixon. My moms cousin, making him my second cousin.

Kaiser was sleeping, I quietly made my way to his side. "kaiser?" I whispered.

He woke up and looked at me confused for a second.

"Jesse?" He asked. I smiled and nodded.

He pulled me into a hug. "oh my gosh! where is Gwen?" (Gwen's my mom) he asked.

"She's, she's gone." I looked to the ground.

"Joe? Bennett?" (My uncle and dad) I shook my head no and looked at him with tears forming in my eyes.

"Merle? Daryl?" his voice cracked.

"Daryl's here. Merle is somewhere hopefully." He smiles.

"So how old are you now?" he asks.

"10, how old are you now?" I smile.

"I'm 12 now." he looked at him arm and sighed,

"Where's Celina?" I asked about his little sister

"Her and ma left, when all this happened thought I was dead." he says.

"Kai I'm so sorry ." I say.

Carl then comes in.

"Carl this is my third cousin Kaiser. Kaiser this is my best-friend Carl." I introduce the two.

"Nice to meet you." Kaiser smiles at Carl.

Carl doesn't say anything, he just looks at kaisers arm, well what's left of it.

"Carl" I slap his chest.

He shakes his head and apologizes.

"I'm really tired." Kaiser says yawning.

"We'll leave you be then." I smile kissing his forehead.

Carl and I then leave the room.

Daryl was waiting for me outside Kaisers room.

"How could you not tell me Kaiser was here?"i ask him.

"I didn't want you to see him like this." He retorts.

I roll my eyes and I walk away.

**FlashBack**

Daryl was finally coming home for Christmas, moms cousin Shirley and my cousins Kaiser and Celina were coming over also.

The doorbell rings it's Daryl! I run into his arms and he spins me around.

Then right behind him was Celina and Kaiser. I run to them and give them a group hug.

"I missed you so much!" Celina says excitedly,

"Everyone lets open presents now!" Dad hollers from the kitchen.

Kaiser, Celina and I make a dash for the living Room.

"Slow down you three" Shirley laughs.

"Here you go darlin'" Dad hands me a present, then one to Celina and Kaiser.

"Open them up" Mom smiles.

I open mine and it was a picture if me, mom, dad, Daryl and Merle. I smiled and gave dad and mom a huge hug,
