"Jess wake up" Daryl says shaking me slightly. I slowly wake up and see Daryl followed by Duncan and Shayla.
"We made y'all some dinner" Shayla says smiling slightly.
"Thank you." I say excepting the plate she hands to me.
I look at the plate and on it is beans and canned peaches.
"So how did you guys end up here? I mean Yknow how me and Daryl got here, what about you two?" I ask as I take a bite of beans.
"Well, Me and Shayla were at this camp with our brother and parents, then the lurkers came, god it was a massacre. We are lucky to be alive. Our parents didn't make it and our older brother Sebastian, well we don't know if he's alive or not." Duncan explains.
"God I am so sorry" I say setting my plate down.
"Oh don't be, I'm sure you've both lost someone you loved." Then I instantly think of Mia and Sophia...
I nod in agreement.
