After our talk Ramsey and I went out for a walk. We just walked next to each other in silence.

"You know I never thought we would meet again." Ramsey chuckles softly. I look at his soft features taking them in.

"Yeah, we weren't really friends." I laugh softly. We didn't know each other at all.

"Yeah, and now..." He stops and looks at me. 'Mate?' My wolf perks up. No, just shush.

"Now you are here, in Trailwood. Not the best place in the world, but it's a place." I smile at him.

"I meant something else. Can't you feel it?" He asks looking into my eyes.

"Feel what?" I ask as something deep inside me started wake up.

"The pull or attraction." He whispers in my ear pressing his strong smaller body against mine. My breath hitched as I realized his scent. 'Our mate!' My wolf cheered. It can't be, I'm not gay.

"Ramsey I..." His lips pressed onto mine as he raced his fingers through my hair.

"Embrace it, don't fight it." He chuckles happily. And for the first time I felt whole.

I bite my bottom lip and held his hand in mine. "It's funny I thought I would never find you." I say with smile. "But instead you found me." I looked down at him.

"Yeah since I'm older and wiser than you are." He laughs and smiles.

"Yes, but smaller than me."I kiss his forehead and make him blush. 'Our mate at last.' My wolf states proudly. I guess I'm happy too.

I smile at him before I kiss home passionately I hold his waist. His arms wrap around the back of my neck as his kisses back. "Wait, I just realized it's lunch time. Let's go eat." I state like a manly manly and March towards the kitchen as he just laughs and follows behind me. So what if I can let loose a little. He's my mate, that's what I'm supposed to do.

Once we enter the kitchen I pick a grape and toss it in his lovely mouth. "You've got good aim." He chuckles as he eats the grape.

"Well I got better aim in bed." I wink at him making him blush. Wow, this is my first time with a guy. Maybe I should tell Chrysie. She might like me more.

"I hope so." He laughs as I toss him a roast beef sandwich one of the alphas admirers made. Could I spend the rest of my life with him? Yes there is no denying.

"Well, well what do we have here..."
