Another week later...

~Troye's POV~

pick me up at the airport pls-TRXYE

I text Tyler as I enter the airport. I haven't texted him since I assumed he figured out my secret.

You responded! Be there soon. -Ty

I'm excited to see him. A few days in, I'm going to tell him how I feel. I hope he won't hate me...

The crowd is overwhelming me. I feel myself start to get shakier & shakier.

But then I see him.

He's standing there in a tee with hamburgers on it, & some tight jeans.

"TROYE!" He yells, making me smile. If I wasn't so anxious & shy, I would yell his name back. But instead, I run to him. My luggage is dragging me down.

When I get to him, I practically throw my luggage down & hug him so tight. His head is at my shoulder. He's so short & adorable.

"Troye" he says quietly, pulling back from the hug "it's good to see you."

"Good to see you too" I smile, hugging him again. I don't want to let go. Him holding me is calming me down so much.

"We have a hella lot to talk about" Tyler says sternly pointing his finger at me "but, let's go home before I start bitching at you."

We get in Tyler's car, & I can't help but smile at him.

"What, do I have something in my hair?" He questions with a laugh. I nod no. Tyler turns on the radio, Fried Rice by G-Eazy coming on. Tyler puts on a pair of shades. This song makes me laugh for some reason. The more it played, the more I couldn't help but grin.

When we got to the apartment after what felt like forever, I help Tyler carry in some groceries he got just before meeting me.

"Alright boy" Tyler says pointing at me again "why in the hell didn't you answer my text?"

"Why should I?" I question, winking.

"You didn't answer my question" Tyler frowns.

"I bought you Nutella & I'm not giving any until you answer me." I gasp over exaggerating, making him laugh. "Seriously."

"Tyler" I start.

"Look Troye, please???" He begs. He's about to run me into a wall. He keeps walking, practically pushing me to the wall. I can't escape this. I somehow move, trapping him against the wall. I'm breathing really heavy, but I'm trying to contain it. I can see the shock in Tyler's eyes.

"Why do you care if I like you or not? Why does it matter so much?" I question quietly.

"Because I hate this sense of unknowing. I just want to know" Tyler frowns. Our foreheads are touching. I can feel his breath on my lips.

"Tyler" I start "maybe it's better you don't know." I let him go, going into the guest bedroom I've used so many times before. I close the door behind me before Tyler can object.
