Y/n POV

I hate whenever we pull out of a hug. Bob is always so warm and smells so nice that I could just snuggle up to him forever. We pulled away from each other and stood awkwardly.

"Um..."

"Yeah..."

[if you haven't noticed already, (y/n) speaks more like a normal young person, while Bob speaks in a more dramatic and refined manner. So it's obviously (y/n) who said "yeah" just letting you know for the next time I don't indicate who's saying what.]

"So, Y/n, you said that you were hungry?"

"Hm? Oh, yeah!"

I clutch my rumbling tummy and smile.

"Well, I made you breakfast, if you wanted.

"Oh honey, you didn't have to."

"Of course I did." He argues. "All I want is to is make you happy."

I roll my eyes and giggle.

"Thanks. But I get to do something for you next time, okay?"

He chuckles and bends down to kiss my cheek. I grin at that.

Breakfast is kind of awkward. We just eat. I can't really think of anything to talk about so I just decide to think harder.

(Our date is today, isn't it?)

That's right, it's tonight. I don't know what we're going to do! I haven't planned anything.

(God! I've been so busy and stressed I haven't even thought about our date!)

"Um, Bob?"

"Hm?" Bob muffles, his mouth full. I giggle at his cuteness and continue.

"What do you want to do tonight?" He looks a bit confused.

"... I'm sorry?"

Oh crap. Is it not today?

"Um... Isn't our date tonight?"

He gasps and starts to choke. My eyes widen and I stand to help him. He lifts his hand, signaling that he's okay, and I sit back down.

"Are you okay?!" I ask, concerned.

"*cough* *cough*, No, I'm fine..."

He stops coughing, he starts speaking again.

"Oh my goodness. I'm sorry. I'm afraid I nearly forgot about it."

"It's okay!" I tell him. "I forgot too, but you don't need to choke over it! I still love you."

He grins, still coughing.

"Anyway, why are you asking me? I should be asking you."

"Not necessarily."

"(Y/n)..." He reaches across the table and grabs my hands. "I'm not allowing you to plan our date. You are just going to have to deal with it."

I roll my eyes, sigh and stick my tongue out at him.

"But–"

"No."

"But I–"

"Nooooooo!"

"Okay, okay!"

Bob smiles and kisses my forehead.

"Hey, I'm gonna go to the Quickie Mart to buy some groceries..."

His faces falls.

"You're leaving? Now?"

"Yeah, I'll starve if I don't." I explain. "Is that what you want?"

"I'll feed you!"

I giggle and stand up.

"Look, that's really sweet, but I like taking care of myself."

"I understand that, but..."

"...but what?"

He lets go of my hands and smiles.

"... Nothing. Hurry back home, okay?"

I look at him for a second. (What did he want to say?).

"Um, okay." I tell him

He gets up and walks me to the door. I look up to him, wrap my arms around his waist, stand on my tip-toes and kiss his lips. Surprised, he lets out a shocked moan. I pull away and open the door to leave.

"I love you."

"... Uh... I love you... too."

I giggle at his shock and close the door.
