Phil took my hand. It was beautiful, warm with a breeze. The sun washed the sky with pinks and blues. Our entwined hands swung lazily back and forth.

"Hey you know, they say that whenever a painter dies that God lets him paint the sunset." Phil said casually.

"Really? Where do you learn such tidbits of information?"

"I have no idea." He replied. "Probably tumblr."

We stopped in front of a little candy shop. "This is our first stop."

"A candy shop?" I asked with confusion.

"Not just any candy shop." He pulled me along. "Look."

I looked up in amazement. "It's the world's biggest pyramid of maltesers. This is art. I love it."

I snapped a picture quickly. I posted it with the caption, "The best type of pyramid O_O"

"Okay next stop." He called pulling me along. I giggled like a school girl.

The sunset was gone and replaced with the almost chilly wind of early autumn. Fall had always been my favorite season and I just basked it in.
We stopped at one of those ancient diners. The kind where all the waitresses call you dear and the seats are always a little sticky. Phil pulled me in.

"What is this Phil?" I asked.

"Just wait." He walked up to the counter. "Hi I would like the Angelina Supreme for two."

The cashier nodded. "Go sit down boys. I'll bring it out."

Phil and I sat down in a slightly sticky booth. Phil reached across the table and took my hand. He kissed my knuckles. I blushed.

The cashier/waitress sat down a tray. On it there were two cans of whip cream. "What?"

Phil opened his can and shot some into his mouth. He swallowed. "They serve whip cream just for spraying it in your mouth. Isn't that cool?"

I laughed. He was perfect. "I love you."

He smiled and his eyes filled with light. "I love you too."

Our laughter ricocheted against the walls of the diner. I hadn't felt this happy in years.

Phil checked his watch. "Hey. You ready to go to our next stop?"

I looked at him surprised. "There's more?"

"Of course. If I couldn't take my boyfriend on the best date of his life, then what kind of butler would I be."

I giggled and took his hand. "Damn I ship them."

"That's honestly such a weird ship. Sebastian's a demon after all."

"It's soooo implied."

He looked at me seriously. "Like us?"

"Yeah I guess. Why?"

"I dunno. I kinda want to come out to the fans. It would probably help a lot of people."

I thought for a moment. "I'm not ready. My family barely know. They just think we're bros."

Phil cringed. "Bros ewww. Okay whatever. We're here."

He stopped in front of a cute little Japanese restaurant. Paper lanterns and statues were everywhere. I loved it. We were led to a table. There were cats running around everywhere.

"Is this like the Japanese cat restaurant?"

Phil looked up from the menu with a grin. "Basically."

The food was delicious. Phil and I talked about everything. It was definitely the best date I had ever been on.

Phil and I were walking home. It wasn't far and I enjoyed the walk. The breeze blew at our hair and clothes just enough to be noticeable. My hand found its way into his.

"Dan?" He said as we reached the flat. "Can I kiss you?"

I blushed. "No, I never kiss on the first date." He looked disappointed. "But fuck first dates..." I said pushing him against the kitchen wall.

His lips met mine perfectly. I could feel the electricity between us. He picked me up and carried me to his room. We slid around under the covers just kissing each other. I felt his teeth on my neck and shivered. He snuggled against me and we just talked about everything and nothing and all of the things in between.

"Phil?"

"Hmm?" He mumbled sleepily and snuggled closer to me. He breathed into my hair rhythmically.

"I really really fucking love you."

Phil muttered something.

"What?"

He yawned. "I love you too nerd. Go to sleep"

I did. I fell asleep with a smile on my face. Because I still didn't understand how I was lucky enough to have someone like Phil love me.

It seemed too good to last.
