He was only 7 years old back then yet he’s matured already. Not physically but mentally.

His expression is as cold as ice…

Blame it on what happened to him 2 years ago. He once had a traumatic experience that made him the way he is now.

Dustin Lloyd Jimenez is the name….

And he’s the COLD guy….

Hindi katulad ng ibang bata si Dustin. Dapat sa edad niyang 7 years old ay naglalaro siya kasama ng ibang bata. Yung tipong mga outdoor games pa. Kaso ibahin natin siya. He prefers reading a book alone in a room, plays his Gameboy or sleeping. Hindi naman siya loner dahil may mga kaibigan siya na anak ng mga business partners ng Papa niya, kaso depende nalang sa mood niya kung gusto niyang makipaglaro sa mga ito.

“Dustin, are you ready?” His Dad asks while giving him a warm smile. Ibang-iba ang ugali ng Daddy niya sa kanya. If he’s cold then his Dad is happy-go-lucky.

He just nodded lazily and put the Toy Story book he’s reading on the top of the center table then stood up. Nag-unat muna siya saka niya hinayaan na akbayan siya ng Daddy niya at lumabas na ng bahay nila.

Every Saturday afternoon ay naging habit na ng Daddy niya na dalhin siya sa isang mall. Hindi para magshopping, kundi para iwanan siya sa isang Playroom. Reason? So that he can get along with other kids and also, to ease his coldness. Kahit anong gawin kasing therapy nito sa anak ay wala pa ring nagbabago. He’s still as cold as ice. Namimiss niya na ang bibo at palangiti niyang anak like he used to be 2 years ago.

“Dustin, mamayang 6PM susunduin kita ha? Get along with other kids, okay?” His Dad reminds him. Nagnod lang si Dustin sa kanya pero pasok sa isang tenga, labas naman sa kaliwang tenga ang sinasabi niya. That’s non-sense eh =___________=

So, as usual he sat at the corner of the playroom and plays with his gameboy.  Yun ang lagi niyang ginagawa tuwing hinahatid siya dito. Tapos pag nagugutom siya, he’ll just tell the kid’s assistant na nagugutom na siya and she would give them their baon. Malaki ang Playroom… Isa itong air-conditioned na lugar (nasa mall nga kasi) at complete sa mga toys. May slides and swings din… and etc. Any kid would love to play here except him.

“Ang korny. Nakakasawa dito…” =___= He mumbles to himself while playing his gameboy. Kapag may lumalapit sa kanyang mga bata, he would just throw toys and yells at them.

“Leave me alone!! I don’t like to be friends with you!!”  He yells with his cold stare at them.

Not until this girl came…

“Momsie, sama ako sayo!! I promise, hindi na ako magpapabuhat sayo! Momsie naman eh!”

“No, Cha-Cha… Magpapabili ka na naman ng kung ano-ano. Just stay here and play with them.”

“Momsie~!” She pouts her lips as she stomps her feet on the floor >3<
