Chapter Eleven
No, We Hailed It First
“I hate you guys,” I growled, as I stomped towards my friends and my brother. I was in a pretty grumpy mood after the two-hour plane flight and now that I was off the plane, I felt a little better…but that was until I saw my friends.
Traitors. I thought.
“Whoa, somebody’s cranky,” said Kale.
“What happened?” asked Hyde.
“What happened? You’re asking me what happened? Oh, I don’t know…other than getting hit on the forehead and being left with the world’s most annoying person, nothing really ‘happened.’” I glared at my friends and my brother.

I rolled my eyes. “That doesn’t make up for the fact that you left me alone to defend for myself!”
“You’re such a drama queen—it’s not as if you got killed or something.”
“But what if I was?”
“Well let’s just hope that that never happens, okay?”
“Where are we supposed to go?” asked Kale.
“We’re supposed to find our way out of the airport—duh,” said Ivy, as she grabbed her luggage from the conveyor belt. She gestured for us to follow her.
