Dear Diary,
I was told to stay behind after class by my teacher today. My maths teacher. I was nervous. It was the first time I ever got told to stay behind, for anything bad that is.

As the students left the room, Mrs White my teacher only stared down at her desk. At the papers. Well at my maths exam really....

I could see the disappointment in her eyes as she shifted them to look at me. All I did was stare back not saying a word.

What is this?

She had asked me. After telling her what it clearly was she replied.

So why is there nothing on it.

I didn't say anything. I only stood there. I was becoming slightly annoyed though with her constant questioning and probing.

Why didn't you answer anything?
I know that you know these answers.
So why isn't there a single mark on here blah blah blah.

At the end of it I felt like screaming at her. But of course I didn't. She told me to come in next week to re-sit the exam and I told her I would. I was lying.

That night I went home and threw all my text books in the fire.

They where of no use to me.

Love,
Annabel
