Dear Diary,
I left early this morning, leaving mom a note telling her that I was walking to school. I also texted Eddie that I was walking since he offered to drive me again.
I had plenty of time before school started... So I went to the small park in town.
It was quite as no children where there. Still all probably tucked up in there warm beds.
I didn't realised how long I was sitting on the swing until I heard middle graders walk past on their way to school.
I took my time to walk the rest of the way. I got there an hour late.
