Day 36

Dear Diary,
I don't remember a time where it wasn't just my mother and I. Since childhood, since I could remember she has always been there. We always had each other.

She was always there. Every play, every teacher and parent day, whenever I was sad or happy. She was always there.

My mother deserved better. She deserved to live a happy life. She didn't deserve to struggle to meet ends met. She didn't deserve to have to constantly worry about hospital bills and a sickly child.

That smiling young face that I have always remembered is slowly being worn out. Wrinkles lined her forehead from constant worrying. Dark bags hung under her eyes from sleepless nights.

If I had one wish in the world. It would be to bring all the happiness to her.

Love,
Annabel
