Dear Diary: My Last 100 Days

Day 51

Dear Diary,
I'm so embarrassed! Mom caught Eddie in my bed this morning.. Instead of acting like a usual concerned parent she smiles and took out her camera.

We woke up to the snapping of the shuttle... Mom was leaning over the bed with her camera up.

When she saw us wake up, she didn't stop. Only continued taking pictures saying how cute we were and how happy she was that we made up.

I was embarrassed when she stopped and asked if he was staying for breakfast. But I was also happy. Happy that I had both Eddie and mom with me. Happy that they were both in my life.

Eddie stayed for breakfast. Then he had to leave saying his family would be worried. I saw him to the door.

I remember the words he spoke so clearly to me.

Annabel I should've asked this sooner... But will you be my girlfriend?

I wasn't thinking clearly at the moment moment I was just so happy.

Yes I replied.

Not thinking about the consequences for it. Not thinking about my short life I had left.

Not thinking about how I would hurt Eddie....
