Third Person's POV

"I cannot believe you!"

"Well of course! I'm kind of impossible!"

"Impossible to deal with!"

"He deserved it."

"He was twelve, Percy! Twelve!"

Those were the first things the demigods heard when Percy and Annabeth came home to the mansion from their trip to Annabeth's favorite bookstore.

The demigods (and two immortals) groaned and tried to distract themselves. The closed their ears, put on some earphones, tried to read a book, and even tried to watch the TV with no sound, as Percy and Annabeth's bickering overpowered the noise.

"This is the third time this week." Luke mumbled, playing with Thalia's hand. He was lying on the couch, his head resting on Thalia's lap.

"D'you think we'll ever be like them?" Thalia asked Luke, and he shrugged.

"They're fighting a lot aren't they?" Piper mumbled, her head on Jason's shoulders.

"Should we be worried?" Jason asked Piper.

"I don't think so." Piper said.

"Yeah. She's right." Alex said. "They'll make it through."

"Yeah." Nico said. "Make it through? Of course. Alive? Not so much."

"They'll be fine." Silena assured.

"But it's so unsettling isn't it?" Beckendorf said.

"It's like seeing your parents fight." Chris said. "I mean- We won't know how parents fight, considering our families, but-"

"No, no. I get it." Clarisse said. "It's weird seeing something so strong quiver. They're like the parents, and you get scared that something might happen."

"I blame the hormones." Nico muttered slowly.

"But you know, if there are no ups and downs, then it's dead." Thomas said.

"And you're sure you're not talking about a heart monitor?" Sophie said.

"I am." Thomas said. "It goes for everything. That's why it's so poetic."

"But they always fight over the stupidest of things." Silena said.

"That's the point." Jason said.

"Shh. I'm trying to listen." Piper said.

Sure enough, Percy and Annabeth's fighting did not calm down, not even a bit.

"He was crossing on a car lane green light, on his skateboard, playing on his phone!" Percy exclaimed. "That just screams all kinds of wrongs."

"Don't act like you've never done that, Perseus. You have a skateboard." Annabeth said.

"No. I don't have a phone. And I'm much too scared to add up my potential deaths from monsters by dancing in front of a car green light!" Percy said. "That kid needs to learn."

"And he will, but not if you run him over first!" Annabeth yelled.

"I was not going to run him over!" Percy exclaimed.

"Yes you were! You said, I'm going to run this kid over." Annabeth said.

"No. I said, I could've ran that kid over." Percy said.
