"Lads, we're on in 5." Ashton says to the guys as we're all in a small, disorganized room behind the small stage in the bar.
Luke's eyes widen. "Guys, I'm nervous."
I walk over to Luke. "Awe Lukey, You'll be fine."
He looks down at me and nods. "Okay."
Soon enough, it was time for the boys' first gig.

"Hi we're 5 seconds of summer."
Man. The way they say that...Australian accents are amazing. I have a boring American accent.
"We are going to start with some covers of songs. Well....it's all covers of songs" Michael scratches the back of his neck.
There wasn't a lot in the audience, maybe about fifteen, but still, it's a lot more than just me watching them practice in Mikeys garage.
"Lets introduce ourselves. I'm Ashton!"
"I'm Michael!"
"Calum"
There was a silence when it was Luke's turn. I was sitting in the front row, anticipating their performance.
Luke looks at me, worry in his eyes. He's terribly nervous.
Michael nudges Luke's shoulder. He flinched and glares at Michael. "And I'm uhh Luke."
"The first song we're going to sing is Drown by Bring me the horizon."
"What doesn't kill you makes you wish you were dead" Calum starts. "Ive got a whole in my soul growing deeper and deeper. And I can't take"
Luke looks at me before opening his mouth to sing with Calum.
"One more moment of this silence, The loneliness is haunting me
And the weight of the world's getting harder to hold up"
Luke takes a breath, locking eyes with me.
"It comes in waves
I close my eyes

And let it bury me" he smiles.

I am so amazed. They are amazing and deserve to play in better places.

I was now currently sitting in the back waiting for them to get done changing.
They all came running in, smiles on their beautiful faces.
"Raven did you see my sick guitar solo?!" Michael asks me
"It was amazing Mikey!" I exclaim.
The boys all chatter about how awesome their fist gig went, while I watched.
They're so happy. It's adorable.

When Luke and I got back to his house, a car, for what I'm guessing is his parents' car, was sitting in the driveway.
"My parents are home" Luke whines.
I laugh.
We walk through the front door, to be greeted by a wonderful smell of a home cooked meal.
"Hey mom." Luke says to a blonde haired woman in the kitchen.
"Hello Lukey" she smiles at him, and continues cooking the meal.
She realizes that I'm there, and turns back around. "So you're Raven." She smiles.
I nod. "Yes Mrs. Hemmings. Nice to-"
"Oh dear, please call me Liz" she chuckles.
I smile. "Nice to meet you Liz"
"Soo" Luke drags on.
"How was the gig, dear?" She asks Luke.
Luke smiles at the mention of his band's first performance.
"It was great"
"That's good." Liz smiles at us.

After we ate, Luke and I relaxed on the couch.
"I'll be back kids, just going to the grocery store." Liz says.
Once she left, we argued over what movie we wanted to watch.
"The best of me"
"No"
"Notebook?"
"Hell no."
"The longest ride?"
"No. What's with all the Nicholas sparks?"
I shrug "good movi-hey..how'd you know they were Nicholas sparks movies?"
Luke's cheeks flush. "Uhh..well.." He stutters. "I haven't been living under a rock. Everyone knows who he is."
I smirk. "Mhm. Okay. So which movie?"
"Let's watch some marvel" he shrugs.
"Ooh captain America!" I exclaim.
I fucking love captain America.
"Sure" Luke plays "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"
As soon as he plays the movie, he comes over to the couch and sits next to me, his arm wrapping around the couch be hind me.
It's almost as if he's trying to decide whether to wrap his arm around me of leave it there.
I lean into him and cuddle, showing him that it's okay to wrap his arm around me.
And he does. "Hey Raven?"
I look up at him. "Yes Luke?"
"There's this..its uhh..some dudes party..its tomorrow and the guys are going..so would you like to come with me?" He asks me.
I nod. "Why not. Nothing better to do. I have no life."
He chuckles, his arm tightening around my shoulders. "At least I'm part of it."
I smile, and we continue watching the movie, and eventually fall asleep in each others arms.
