"Morning, Dad." I hum to my dad when I see him drinking a cup of coffee at the kitchen table.

He tears his attention off of the paperwork he was doing.

Setting the pen down, he smiles at me. "Good morning honey, ready for school?"

I groan. "No. I still need to eat breakfast." I grab my car keys resting on the counter. "I'm just gonna stop at dunkin or something."

He nods, and puts his attention back to his work. "So your eighteenth birthday is coming up." He brings up, glancing at me through his thick rimmed glasses. "Any idea of what you want to do?"

I shake my head, and slide my backpack onto my back. "Nope. I couldn't care less about it."

My dad just nods, and doesn't say anything more.

I take this as an opportunity to leave. "Bye dad. See you after school."

He waves.

I walk out the door and shut it closed, walking to my car.

"Its in 12 days!" Luna squeals as we talk about the concert.

I smile. "Yeah. Wait-what day is the show?"

Ciarra gives me a dry look. "The fifth."

My eyes widen as a large smile takes over my features. "That's my birthday. I'll be eighteen."

Luna smiles happily at me. "Awesome! You'll be as old as Luke then!" She laughs. "Legal."

I roll my eyes.

I was about to start another conversation, but a shadow appears over the lunch table.

I look up with a disgusted face when I see who was standing there.

"Well well well," she begins, twisting a strand of her white blonde hair with her finger. " I hear you little bitches got backstage passes and front row seats for the one direction concert."

I almost shake my head no. "Oh yeah. We do."

She smiles falsely. "Yeah. You're lying. Stop. Trying. To. Fake. Your. Relationships. With. Rockstars." She sneers.

I roll my eyes. "Ahh!" I fake. "You caught us." I mock surrender.

She raises her eyebrows. "Thought so. No one disrespects Amber West." She states.

"Um..who is that?" Luna questions.

The girl scoffs. "Me, obvy."

I roll my eyes. "Go bother someone else, bitch."

"I'd rather bother you people, You sluts. Clearly, I'm better than you." She scoffs. "I mean look at me. So much better. I actually look human."
