A Friendly Date With Nic

Rachell's POV 

Carson: "Wait! I'm sorry, I meant to say, 'Come on babe.'" I turned back around. 

Me: "I was only joking." I smiled.

~1 day later~ 

I got out of the car. 

Mom: "Have a fun day at school!" 

Me: "I will." I closed the door and walked into the school. My phone buzzed. I got a text from Nic. 

Nic- "Wanna hang out after school??" I replied back. 

Me- "Sure. Where r we meeting at?" 

Nic- "I'll meet u at the entrance of the Beverly Hills Mall." 

Me- "K, see ya then. 😊" 

Person: "Hey Rachell!" I turned towards the voice and saw Corey. I waved and walked over to him. 

Me: "Hey Corey." 

Corey: "People are saying we are going on a field trip." 

Me: "Cool! Do you know where?" 

Corey: "No. All I know is that, it's gonna be awesome." 

Me: "Well, I bet it will be." 

Corey: "That guy over there keeps staring at us." He quickly pointed near the vending machine. I followed his gaze and saw Carson. 

Me: "Oh, that's Carson." 

Corey: "I think he has a crush on you. He always stares at you." He chuckled. 

Me: "Yeah, I know he has a crush on me." 

Corey: "Did he tell you?" 

Me: "Yeah, four months and a week ago he told me. Well actually that's when he asked me out, I don't remember how long ago when he told me has a crush on me." 

Corey: "What?" 

Me: "You heard." I chuckled. 

Corey: "So, you're dating him?" 

Me: "Yeah." 

Corey: "That's cool." He smiled. 

Me: "I'll see you later." 

Corey: "Got any ideas for the story?" 

Me: "We could have Jessica and Olivia get kidnapped and Chase has to rescue them by sneaking through the vents." 

Corey: "That's good." I waved goodbye and walked over to Johnny, Carson, Hayden, Greg, and Lauren. 

Hayden: "I'm so excited for the field trip!" 

Johnny: "Yeah, we get to go whale watching!" 

Me: "That's cool!" 

~30 minutes later~

We got on the bus. 

Carson: "Do you want the window seat?" 

Me: "Sure." He moved out of the way and I slid inside the seat. I saw I had a text from Jordyn. 

Jorydn- "Hey" 

Me- "Hey" 

Jordyn- "What's up?" 

Me- "Going on a field trip." 

Jordyn- "Cool, r u doing anything later today?" 

Me- "I'm meeting up with someone at the mall later."
