Lauren's pov
When I got back to the house I share with the girls I plopped down on the couch near where they were watching a movie.
"What's wrong chica?" Dinah asks.
"I miss my baby."
"Didn't you just drop him off."
"Yeah but I miss him."
"Jesus Lauren you guys are too attached."
"No we were not now take that back."
"Never."
"I don't know what to do I wanna here his voice."
"You realize you're dating a singer right." Normani says.
"Yeah so?" I shrug.
"He records his voice and releases it to the world as a job."
"Oh my gosh yes."
"And he released an album while you were half dead that you have yet to listen to." Dinah reminds me.
"Omg you're right." I take out my phone and go on iTunes buying his deluxe album. I went upstairs and laid on my bed cuddling in the flannel I stole from his house. I put my ear buds and listened to it. It was a really good album. No wonder it debuted at number one.

Really really good album. I enjoyed it the whole way through. There was I think only one ballad and it was so good and it was with my girl Jordin Sparks. She's so talented and beautiful. A really lovely girl. I listened to the album three times it was so good.

Jacksons pov
I've been on your for a few weeks and Lauren starts hers soon. I picked out the ring I just need to get her ring size and I know how to do it.
"Dinah did you do it?"
"She wouldn't tell me because I'm the prankster of the group."
"What would you do with a ring size."
"I don't know get her finger stuck in something that they would have to like cut off her hand."
"Ok never mind can you bring the tablet over to her once were on FaceTime."
"Sure."
"and film this please."
"Gotcha. By the way your proposal idea is so fucking cute."
"Thanks Dinah but hurry up I have sound check in ten minutes and it's 6 minutes away from my tour bus."
She takes it to the ardor be woman and I look at her.
"Hello Mandy."
"Hi Jackson good to see you again."
"You too."
"What can I do for you?"
"I need Lauren's ring size."
"Why?"
"I'm proposing marriage to her and it needs to be a surprise so I can't ask her for her ring size."
"Oh my gosh! Yes Of course she's a size 6." (A/n I don't know how the fuck ring sizes work btw that's Lauren's dress size just a fun fact.)
"Thank you so much Mandy I really appreciate it."
"Of course I'm so happy that I could help and so proud of you for taking this step."
"Thank you."
"Good luck."
"Thanks Mandy and say hi to the kids for me."
"Of course. Bye Jackson." Dinah ends the call and I write down the ring size and put it in my pocket. Me and Demi are going to pick it up in the next city we stop in.

2 weeks later
I know Lauren is on tour and ever since I've started my your she's managed to send me a goodnight text that I see just after I get off stage which means she's up really late waiting to send it. I send her good morning texts no matter what though sometimes I send it in the middle of the night so that she sees it when she wakes up. Honestly she's the best girlfriend ever. She's so perfect. I love her to death. I just wish she would get some damn sleep. I know that they don't have that many performances but still. She needs to stay healthy. We FaceTime occasionally but mostly call and text each other. These performances are crazy though. I have so much fun. The fans are so interactive honestly they practically sing the concert for me. It's amazing. Hanging out with them backstage and in meet in greets is so much fun they're lovely people. Demi is lovely Tori is lovely. Ed is lovely.

Narrator: Then Diasaster struck the love in a rhythm tour.
"Ed left." My manager tells all of us.
"What?" We all choke on our water or whatever.
"He wanted to go back home he didn't want to be an opening act and they gave him the opportunity to do his own tour in his own country and he jumped for it so we need to replace him." That's what his explanation was. What a prick!

"I know babe it's crazy he just left."
"That's awful who are you replacing him with?"
"I don't know."
"You have to pick someone."
"My manager said Shawn was interested but like hell I'll let him join the tour he hurt my best friend for no reason. I ought to kill him. But I won't. I mean who can do this on such short notice." Then it hit me. Jacob Whitesides. He's friends with Lauren so I can trust him. He's talented. I know he's a nice guy we've hung out plenty of times. I think I'd enjoy his company. He fits in with the sound and adds a little bluegrass sound that we don't have but fits well. I'll talk to my manager about it. Right now I gotta make sure that I don't miss anything on my proposal checklist. After I finish that I got ready for the show. I performed my entire new album plus jealous, they don't know about us, a little too much, like me, and home to mama. Then Demi came on stage and we sang Father together. During the concert I took a selfie. It's part of my proposal. Just trust me this'll be good. After I got off stage Lauren texted me for a FaceTime. I got Demi so she could film but in an angle that Lauren couldn't see. We set it up and then her beautiful face popped into the screen wearing glasses. I didn't quite understand but I let it go. No I didn't.
"Babe why are you wearing glasses?"
"They're cute right? Mani needs glasses to read so I took hers. She just got these new ones and I have literally been wearing them since we touched down in Amsterdam two days ago. "
"Cool. Cool."
"So how has your tour been since last we spoke you were having issues because Ed left."
"Right well Jacob is joining the tour soon hopefully."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah I mean you guys are friends and you say he's a nice guy. I trust your judgement, we've hung out a little before he's pretty chill really talented. I thought he'd fit in well and I didn't want to add another girl to the tour because I realized I barely have any guy friends and that's an issue."
"That's so cool! You guys will have tons of fun."
"I hope so but how much fun are you having in Europe?"
"It's so cool. We have seen so many amazing places and tourist sites. We've been to monuments and architecturally amazing buildings and such. It's completely legal for me to drink here."
"Lauren."
"Hey I'm having fun leave me alone. I only had a few drinks. They were pretty good. Amsterdam gets a 100 on my scale."
"That's so awesome. I'm so glad you're having fun."
"I actually am I'm so happy I decided to for sure go because they asked me if I still needed some time off but u said no and I'm so glad that I did."
"How are the girls?"
"They're good. How are your tour mates?"
"They're awesome but seriously tell me all about what you guys have experienced?"
"We went everywhere we could possibly manage to in Amsterdam and then we will try to go everywhere in London and Paris. We visited the bridge from the fault in our stars because of Camila...." We continued to talk about he'd trip and my tour and our lives and I could tell Demi was getting bored and Lauren was getting tired.
"Babe it's late you better get to sleep." I say as I see her leaning her hand and closing her eyes.
"No I'm fine."
"Babe you're sleepy and you need the rest. So I'll talk to you tomorrow ok."
"Alright goodnight baby I love you." She blows a kiss.
"I love you too." I end the call and turn to Demi.
"That was excruciating." She says causing me to chuckle.
"Hey I've sat in the room with you during one your chats with Wilmer so don't even."
"Ok love go get some rest we have a ton of meet and greets earlier in the morning than I would've liked."
"Goodnight Jackson." She walks off towards her bus and leaves me on my empty bus. I lay in my bunk and think about the fact that in a month i will have been dating for 2 years and then few months after that she will be my fiancé. How amazing is my life? Amazing.
