Chapter 5: The Skeleton brothers

As soon as I open the door, coldness was the first thing I felt. It was snowing and no one was there. I step out and close the door behind me carefully. Toriel, I promise, I won't hurt anyone, even if it risk my life. I said to myself as I started to walk for awhile. This place is big. I have been walking for minutes. I passed by a stick, laying on the ground. Hmm, it must have fallen from a tree but all the trees are all at the side. It's very far from all the trees. I just ignored the branch and kept walking. A few seconds later, I heard something broke. I turn around and saw that the stick was broken into two pieces. Chills run down my spine. I started to walk again. For a second I felt a presence of someone. I am kinda shaky because of that. I just kept on walking and walking until I heard footsteps behind. I did not intend to turn around because I am too scared. I-is someone watching me or following? Few minutes of walking, I was stopped. I heard the footsteps coming closer to me. What should I do?!?!?!?!?!? I was panicking inside, I am screaming inside but outside I was just standing there, all quiet until the footsteps stopped at my back. A low voiced guy spoke to me from behind saying,

"Human, don't you know how to greet a new pal?"

Wait what? New pal? What the heck is this guy talking about? Does that mean he ain't gonna hurt me? He continued speaking.

"Turn around and shake my hand."

Oh... so I'M suppose to shake a random person's hand now? Wow. That's great. JUST great! So I did what the guy just said. I close my eyes and turn around. For 5 seconds, I open my eyes and found a skeleton holding his hand out, waiting for me to shake it. I sigh and shake his hand. While I was shaking his hand, I heard a fart sound coming from my hands. I let go and found a woopie-cussion in his hands. I was shock for a moment and look at him. He was laughing. BRO! WHAT IS SO FUNNY WITH THAT?!?!?! I am trying to keep my anger inside. I stayed calm and while he laugh. I hate when people trick me with that. After he laughed, he started to talk.

"Hahahaha! The woopie-cussion trick never gets old."

He wipe his eyesockets cause... there were tears about to fall? He doesn't even eyes. How can he cry? I just ignore it and said hi to the skeleton.

"Hey kiddo. You new here aren't ya? The name's sans. Sans the skeleton."
He greeted me nicely.

Oh so this skeleton's name is sans. Wow, can't believe we're the same height. I greeted sans politely and I said who I am. He is always smilling. Oh maybe because he doesn't HAVE lips. At all. He asked a question.

"Hey kid, do you like puns?"

Uummm.... I don't know. I mean they are cool and stuff but i'm just not used to hearing puns at all. I don't want this guy to be sad so I nod. He laugh a bit and ask,

"Hey kiddo, what kind of tea do hockey players drink?"

I replied what.

"A Penaltea!"

Then he started to laugh again. What? I don't get it at all. To prevent things to be ackward, I laugh with him but only a little. It's not funny at all though. How can he laugh so hard on a pun like that? Well, I'll just go on with it. After a few minutes of laugh, he started to talk normaly again.

"Your a nice girl. Wanna hang-out?"

Well that sound kinda fun. I nodded with a smile.

"That's the spirit. Let's go. I know a shortcut."

He started to walk and I follow behind him. This guy is neat. He is nice but I wonder what is his age. A few minutes later, we stopped at a restaurant and there is a sign at the top and it says:
GRILBY'S. That's neat. I followed sans inside and he let me took a seat beside him. In front of me, there was this guy who is a fire. Why is he a fire? He doesn't have a a mouth but he have this glasses. I said hi to him. He looked at me and wave his hand at me like he was saying hello. I smiled at him and looked at sans who was... drinking ketchup? I ask sans why is he drinking ketchup and he replied,

"It's my favorite. You want some?"

I refuse. Who drink ketchup? I just sit there and look at the flaming guy. The flaming guy noticed me and went to get something. It seems like the guy knew that I wanted to talk to him just by the look of my face. A few seconds later, he brought a fire proof pencil and paper. He started to write.

G: Hi.
You: Hello! May I ask what is your name?
G: Ah, yes. My name is Grilby. And yours is?
You:[Y/n]. Nice to meet you mr. Grilby!
G: It was my plesure.
You: Mr. Grilby, why don't you have mouth?
G: Well, I don't have any idea. I don't have a mouth when I was born.
You: Oh ok. Can you please tell me more about yourself?
G: Sure.

And so we talked and talked for hours until a person walked in. I turn around and looked who was it and I found another skeleton but he is more slender and taller than sans. I can tell that he is a boy because of how he is dressed. He started to walk towards me and sans and said,

"Brother, I see you made friends with a human. *sigh* Well it can't be helped. You are always lazy at capturing humans so I might as well make friends with her."

He turned and look to me with a smilling face.

"Hello human! I am Papyrus! The brother of sans. Nice yo meet you! Are you new here?"

I noded with a smile.

"Human, would like to stay with me and sans for awhile in our house? There is spaghetti there."

Papyrus is gladly inviting me. Well I can't say no to that kindness. I nodded and said wait for a while. I turn around and write something on the paper me and mr. Grilby was using awhile ago.

You: Mr. Grilby, I will be leaving now. But I will come back here tomorrow.
G: Ok. Have a good time there [y/n]. Cya.
You: Bye-bye!

I turn around and look at Papyrus again and said let's go. He carried sans which I didn't realize is drunk. How did he get drunk just by drinking ketchup? We started to walk and I looked back and wave goodbye to mr. Grilby. He waved back and I smiled. We started walking to Papyrus and sans's house.
