Chi Cheng stopped talking and simply stared at Wu Suowei for a good five minutes.
To say that Wu Suowei was not diffident was untrue. Whoever gets stared at like that will feel uncomfortable and scared. Furthermore, Chi Cheng's gaze was like a mincing machine. He would wring out all your determination into a mountain of debris the moment you're inattentive.
After a long silence, Chi Cheng finally spoke.
"Why did you stop coming to play basketball for the past few days?"
Wu Suowei facepalmed, brewing for half a day just to ask that question.
In reality, all those past conversation that Chi Cheng made was just a lead up so that he could ask this question. His real concerned was just a trivial matter一why did you stop coming to find me?
Wu Suowei answered nonchalantly, "No reason. I just didn't feel like playing basketball."
Chi Cheng's face changed. He put Xiao Chu Bao down and moved in front of Wu Suowei and stared into his eyes.
"So why did you feel like playing in the past?"
Wu Suowei felt a sense of foreboding cloud shadowing him, making it hard for him to breathe.
Not getting a reply after a long time, Chi Cheng suddenly struck out his hand towards Wu Suowei's head and pressed Wu Suowei on the sofa. Wu Suowei's iron-head is so hard, even Chi Cheng's muscular hand felt unease after the strong impact against it.
Chi Cheng looked down onto Wu Suowei, his tone becoming heavier.
"Talk!"
Wu Suowei gritted his teeth and refused to make a sound, making a certain someone anxious.
Jiang XiaoShuai lightly coughed and managed to lighten the tensed atmosphere.
"Don't get so close to him, he's having a cold. Don't let it spreads to you."
"You are down with cold?" Chi Cheng asked.
