Chi Cheng forcefully gripped Wu Su Wei's neck to block him and stop his carrying-on. After being deadlocked for a while, Wu Suo Wei again vigorously smashed the pit of his stomach with his head.

"I'm in a bad mood today. Go home now and get a good night's sleep. Tomorrow morning I'll bring you something good to eat."

Wu Suo Wei, still immersed in grief from which he could not be extracted, continued grumbling, "My forehead used to be a solid fortress until you gave me medicine that bit by bit destroyed my anti-strike capability."

Chi Cheng's hand rubbed Wu Suo Wei's forehead for a while, and then he asked, "Does it hurt?"

"Hey, just now you said you were in a bad mood, why?" Wu Suo Wei responded.

Chi Cheng immediately got out of bed, grabbed the one hundred seventy-five centimeter Wu Suo Wei under the armpits and dragged him to the doorway. Wu Suo Wei did not struggle but let Chi Cheng push him out the door. Then the door shut, dividing their space, one on the inside, one on the outside. An hour later Chi Cheng opened the door. Wu Suo Wei was still standing there.

He was grabbed and dragged back in.

"Today is his birthday." Chi Cheng lit a cigarette. "When he gave me Xiao Cu Bao, he could fit in the palm of my hand. The last six years have gone by in a flash. I guess he doesn't even think about how much Cu Bao has grown. I didn't care about snakes before, but being around them the years we were together, I gradually developed special feelings for them."

"How many years were you together?" Wu Suo Wei asked.

Chi Cheng replied, "More than three years."

Three years. Wu Suo Wei's heart kept repeating this number. Chi Cheng and Mr. Right were together for more than three years, and six years later he is still hung up about it. My own relationship lasted seven years, ah. So using the same calculation, I would have to struggle for at least fifteen years, ah.

"If it weren't for him, Guo Zi and I wouldn't have turned out like this. Guo Zi was always my best buddy. When I was a kid I fell into the river, and Guo Zi held out a tree branch to pull me out. Guo Zi doesn't remember that moment since he was so young when it happened."
