The beat of my heart
It stops.
Eyes that have wandered
They're focused on you.
Hands that have damaged,
They're mending wounds.
The thoughts in my head,
They're silenced.
Feet that never stop running
They're glued to the floor,
The soul that wanted for nothing,
It's longing for more.
The girl who feared to love,
She's holding on to her man.
The girl who feared she couldn't be loved,
She's proven wrong again.
