Or in getting lost in a day dream,
Or in the pictures you've sent.
What must I do to fast forward time,
To where I can hold you tight?
How do I skip ahead?
How can I open our story
And flip to the end?
This distance is a test,
To see if our love will last.
All must take the long way home in this life,
But my home will be wherever you reside.
So till our roads become one and the same,
You'll forever remain
In my heart and on my mind.
