Emily's POV

Oh god, is it Monday again? Please no. Maybe if I just closed my eyes for a little moment?

"EMILY! GET UP!"

What a great way to start my morning mom..

I just groaned and buried my face in the pillow. I knew everyone hated Mondays, but I really hated them. I disliked them.

"Emily you need to get up. You're going to be late." I heard my mom's voice next to my bed.

How the heck did she get there so quickly?

"Mmhm..." I sighed and sat up. "Can you drive me?"

It was my mom's turn to sigh. "Emily, you can't always sleep in and expect me to drive you."

"This is gonna be the last time, I swear." I pleaded. We both knew that was a lie, but surprisingly my mom gave in.

"Fine." She rolled her eyes. Before leaving my room, she took a pile of clothing from the floor and mumbled to herself,  "She always leaves her dirty clothes around the house.."

I climbed out of my comfy bed. My homework was laying on my table, waiting for me to do it. I usually did my homework in time, but lately I had been slacking.

I had fifteen minutes to get ready. That meant I wouldn't have time to eat my breakfast, but I was pretty used to that. I decided to wear shorts, a white t-short and a cardigan. Nothing special. But really, who would put an effort to look good at school? I put my hair up and looked myself from the mirror. I looked tired as hell.

Thank god my mom drove me to school, I wouldn't have made it on time otherwise. I usually just walked because I enjoyed listening to music at the same time. Sometimes I even got a ride from my friends.

I thanked my mom for the drive and ran to hug my two bestfriends, Alisha and Pauline.

Alisha was the tallest one of us. Her hair was blonde and she looked great with the tan she had gotten during the summer. She had a great style and humor. Pauline was the smartest one, and if I ever needed help for some complicated things, she would always try to help me. We were the perfect trio.

"Hi!" I chirped hugging them.

I took my math books from my locker and sighed. I just didn't get math. How were you supposed to get all the equations? Everything would be so easier if I wouldn't have to study it. My parents had offered me to pay for a tutor from my school but I really wasn't comfortable with someone my age tutoring me.

Alisha and Pauline had a different math class than me which sucked. Math would've been much enjoyable if I would have my friends there.
I turned around the corner and bumbed into someone. Ugh so my luck..

I raised my head to see who did I dash against. Oh shit. Oh shit.

I mentally slapped myself.

Let me introduce you to Jack.

Jack Martin. He was a year older than me, but was still in the same classes as me since he had to repeat last year. You're asking why? Well because he was always skipping his classes.. The whole school knew him and his group. It involved five other guys that were as good looking as he was. Most of them were known as the school's players. They used girls; acted like they liked them and just played with their feelings until the girls were heartbroken and upset. There even was a rumor that they had never heard a 'no' from a girl before. I thought it sounded weird, but Pauline and Alisha were sure it was true.
