Audrey woke up the next morning in Michael's bed with a pounding headache. The last thing she'd remembered was falling asleep on the roof of the Edge underneath the stars.

She stepped out of the bed and walked downstairs, carefully holding onto the wall as she did so. When she finally reached the kitchen, she was greeted by Michael, Rain, and Calum.

"Cal? When did you get here?" she asked, confused.

"When you guys didn't come home last night, I drove up here to make sure you were all safe," he told her.

She nodded, then leaned against the counter. "Mikey, do you have any Advil?"

"Of course," Michael said, then handed Audrey a pill and a glass of water.

After gulping down the water, Audrey sighed, putting her face in her hands, thinking about what she was putting herself through.

"You guys, I don't know what to do," she finally said, feeling hopeless.

"Text him, Audrey," Rain told her, gently placing her hand on Audrey's. She'd been telling her for the longest time that she should just text him, but Audrey always refused.

"Yeah," Michael joined in. "Make plans with him or something so that you can talk."

"He won't want to," Audrey sighed.

Rain shook her head and frowned. "You don't know that. Come on, you'll regret it if you don't try."

"She's right, you will," Calum added after taking a long sip from his coffee.

Audrey looked at her best friends and smiled. They all cared about her so much, and even Michael wanted her to be happy with Luke. She couldn't help but wonder if they were right.

"Okay, even if I do and he says yes, what will we do? What will I say?" she questioned.

"Go get some coffee or something," Michael said, encouragingly.

"You can do it, Audrey. It'll be alright," Rain told her.

Audrey smiled at her friends, then stood up. "Then I've gotta get ready, right? I look like I just crawled out of a sewer."

"Let's go, girl," Rain said, then grabbed her car keys.

"I'll see you later, Mikey," Audrey said, hugging him.

"See ya," he replied.

After giving Calum a kiss, Rain led the way to her vehicle. It took twenty minutes for Audrey and Rain to finally arrive back at Calum's beach house, so as soon as they arrived, they rushed inside.

One small debate later, Audrey finally sent a text to Luke saying, "Hey, Luke. Do you want to get some coffee or something today?"

After twelve worrisome minutes, Luke finally texted her back.

"Sure. Carlson's in an hour?"

Feeling relieved and happy at the same time, Audrey smiled down at her phone. She couldn't believe that he actually wanted to see her, even after what had happened. However, she couldn't help but wonder if he only wanted to see her so that he could end it with her once and for all.

Audrey didn't know why Luke got over her so quickly, especially for a girl like Samantha. She wanted to ask him about it, but at the same time was scared that she would annoy him or make him mad.
