ChapterNine:

McKenzie'sPoint Of View:

"I'm afraid to shower." I pout slightly. Austin smirks.

"I'll join." I glare at him, trying to fight the smile playing on my lips. "I was joking." He chuckled.

"Oh really? I was going to say yes." I joked, giving my shoulders a shrug.

"Seriously?" He asked, shocked.

I laughed. "No, Austin." I shake my head.

"Oh." He let out a laugh.

I giggled at him. He seemed surprised when I said yes.

"But seriously, I'm scared." I said. "There's a window in my bathroom.." I mumbled.

"Its small. Nobody can fit through there." He told me. I sighed.

"I know, but.." I trailed off, shrugging my shoulders.

"Baby, you'll be fine. And I'll be here waiting, okay?" He said and I nodded.

"Okay." I agreed softly. I stood up and went into the bathroom. I stripped out of my clothing, and stepped into the shower.

The warm water relaxed my tense muscles. All my nerves, Gone. I wanted to stay in here forever, but was still a bit creeped out a bit. I shut my eyes as I scrub my shampoo into my scalp. I do this twice and rinse. I put on my conditioner, and untangle my brown hair.

Again, I do this twice and rinse.

When I finish with my shower, I step out and dry my body, including my hair so that it doesn't drip.

I wrapped the towel around my body tightly as I walked out of the bathroom. As promised, Austin was there, watching Spongebob with Jazzy and Mason. I smiled at the sight.

Being good with children, makes you 50% more attractive, no doubt.

I walked over to my walk-in closet. I clutch onto my towel as my eyes scanned my clothes.

Am I going out today? I might not. I'm feeling lazy. But I can't wear sweats because Austin is here.

"What are you waiting for?" Austin's voice made me jump slightly before I turned around to face him.

"You scared me!" I told him.

"Sorry." He smiled sweetly, making me melt.

"And I can't find what to wear." I turned to face my clothes again.

"You're fine the way you are." Austin said before he burst out laughing. I chuckled. I knew he was playing, and I found it funny. We were immature..

"Shut up. " I rolled my eyes, smiling.

"But, you'd look great in anything." He said, walking in and sitting on a little couch thing, where I sometimes sit to put on my shoes. I shrugged.

"I can't find anything to wear.." I mumbled.

"Just wear sweats and a t-shirt." He told me and I furrowed my eyebrows at him, as if he were crazy. "Why that look?" He chuckled slightly.

"Because! I'm not going to wear sweats!" I emphasized the word 'sweats'.

"Why not?" He laughed, and I shook my head.

You might not believe me when I say this, but I'm a bit insecure about myself sometimes. I mean, I know I'm pretty and have a nice body, but.. I don't know. Sometimes I don't like the way I look. And I don't want Austin seeing me like that, and seeing how disgusting I look.
