"Morning mom, how was your date yesterday?" Henry asks walking into the kitchen where I'm making eggs. "It was great. Mary Margaret espicially enjoyed it" I say laughing "Two things, first can you make toast with the eggs? and two why are you dressed up?" Henry asks right when the toaster makes the ding* sound and toast pop out. "Done and because" I turn around and look at him "after i came home yesterday i remembered how supportive you were when i told you about my date and how mature you've been with everything so i've decided i'm helping you violet, a are going out today." i say in a commanding voice "What today?" Henry asks surprised "Yes text her right no-..wait no call her. Better yet we're going to her house and your going to formally ask her out. C'mon lets go" I say grabbing my coat "Mom? you just made breakfast and it's 9:30..stars my not even be awake" Henry reminds me "Right. " i say going back and put the breakfast on the table "but we're going right after breakfast okay?" I say "Mom I really appreciate how you're helping me but why is this so important to you?" Henry asks looking up at me "Because you are important to me and well you're old enough so why not" I say sitting down across from him "Your father isn't here to talk to you about girls and you know this stuff and i'm truly sorry about that" I say frowning and looking down at my hands "Mom..mom please look at me" Henry says grabbing my hand "It's not your fault, I know that" I look up at him and say "Ugh what would i do without my prince" "Eat mom okay? Then we'll go." he says "Okay kid and wear your blazer" I tell him After we eat Henry goes and changes. He's wearing a dark button up shirt and a black blazer. "Why do I have to wear this?" Henry asks me in a whiney voice "Just trust me Henry. Did you text her?" I ask him "Yeah I said I'm just going to drop somethig off" "Okay kid lets go we have to mke a stop on the way" I stop at a flower shop and tell Henry to follow me when we walk in. "Why do we need flowers? She's not sick" Henry says in a duh tone "Girls like flowers okay and if you are going to ask her out you should have flowers" "A singl flower or a bouqet?" Henry asks me looking at down a row of flowers "I don't know what do you think kid?" "A boquet." He says surely "Besides go big or go home right?" "Right so what kind of flwer?" "Violets right?" Henry says looking at a beautifl boquet of violets "Yeah it seems fitting." Hnry grabs the flowrs and I pay for them and we walk out.

After henry tells me Violet's address we drive there in silnce. After I park outside her house and look over at Henry and notic his hand shaking. "Don't be nervous" I tell him. "I'm not" He tells me "Well maybe a little" he says looking at me "She will say yes okay? Just believe" I say reasurrently Henry nods, gets out of the car, and goes to ring her door bell. After a couple of second Violet walks out in a beautiful dress and flats Should I watch? No Emma give them some privacy I pull out my phone and text Mary Margaret Mary Margaret💕 Hey last night was so much fun. Did you ever end up getting David's nmber? // Ya actually this morning he called me and asked me to coffee ☺️ // Look at youu Mary Margaret 😂 Good for you but just because he's acting so nice doesn't mean i'm not doing my intensive reaseach on him K? Henry asks "Trust me kid she didn't dress up like that for the mail man. she defiantly likes you" I say chuckling "Mom" henry says after a beat "Thanks for everything" "It's nothing Henry.
