Chapter 21: Music Audition:

"Welcome Everyone! We have a new student. He was unable to come yesterday due to an injury in flying lessons, but he has come to audition. His name is Neville Longbottom. A Gryffindor first-year, and he plays the trumpet and says he can sing countertenor. Alright, now, moving onto auditions. First-years gather backstage and wait till I call your name to come on. Students who signed up to play instruments, here are the music sheets and make sure the singer is ready before starting. My panel of judges, you may sit with me on the table except Cedric, he'll be playing the piano." said Flitwick. Everyone moved to their designated area.

"First up, Nadine Warbeck," announced Flitwick.

Nadine walked onstage from the wings, behind a black curtain backstage.

"Hey. So I'm going to sing one of my favorite songs, Hell to the No by Glee Cast," she told the panel of judges as she stood center stage.

They wrote something down, but Nadine was confident, she didn't have any nerves after noticing this.

"You may begin when you're ready," said Flitwick, mentally preparing himself for Nadine's song after hearing the title.
