I must have fallen asleep because I woke up with a pounding headache and my alarm blaring loudly in my room. I groaned and smashed it up. Stupid alarm clock, waking me up back to reality. I sighed and rolled over onto my back and touched my forehead gently. My last day in Forks, as much as I don't want to, I have to go to school... I have to say goodbye. I got out of bed and went straight into the shower, letting the hot water rush all over me.
"Stop crying" I whispered to myself, wiping away the tears that had now over spilt. I was grateful for my emotions letting me cry in the shower so no-one would notice it. I finally got out and used the elements to dry myself and headed over to my closet. I picked out pale beige short sleeved collared t-shirt and a simple white pleated skirt. I grabbed my white laced tights and slipped on the clothes. I tied my hair half up half down and placed a little white bow at the back of my hair.
I looked at my face in the mirror and wrinkled my nose up with disgust, I was all pale and my eyes were still red. I quickly grabbed my foundation and gently applied it to my face to make my skin look better, added a little mascara and some pink lip gloss. Sighing, I grabbed my bag and headed down the stairs.
"You can take your own car today" Edward said quietly "you're the only one going in." I snorted at the comment "Mia.."
"Don't Edward." I said coldly to him "you didn't even bother trying to fight, so you're going to leave Bella?"
"It's what's best for her"
I laughed a dry laugh "Okay Edward, you keep telling yourself that." I grabbed my keys and headed out into the garage, slamming the door as I did. I got into my Kuga and sighed, then slammed my hands against the wheel and rested my head against it.
"Breathe Mia" I hiccupped "don't cry" I sighed, checked my hair in the rear-view mirror and drove out the garage for the last time. I heard my phone go off in my bag but I ignored it, I really didn't want to speak to my family at the moment. I pulled up in the school lot and it began to rain, I grabbed my umbrella and put it up and walked over to the group.
"Hey" Mike grinned "you happier today?"
I fake laughed "yeah, sorry guys, didn't feel too good. Where's Tristan?"
"Didn't you get the text? Hart's sick, must have caught it off you" Tyler laughed, I grinned my stomach dropped. I wouldn't even get to say goodbye to him? Can this day get any worse, and I ignored his text. Great. "Where's the rest of the family?"
"Not feeling to good either" I said drifting off, I noticed Bella get out of her truck, she stared at me then quickly began to come over "okay, I've gotta go, I have to hand in an Art Piece" I shrugged then quickly headed inside the building. I turned my head and noticed Bella was trying to keep up, struggling but still. I quickly turned into a Science room and ducked down, Bella just walked passed. I sighed; I guess Edward hasn't broken the news to her yet. Well, if he has, she's taking it pretty well.
