Tyler isn't a major hardcore gamer but he did grow up being a fan of certain series such as Pokemon. He has a PS2 and a 3DS currently (would have others but he prefers having a really nice computer) , both of which Onity will play a lot on while home alone during the work weeks. Some games only allow for one save, and Tyler's pretty much allowed Onity to rewrite most of those saves, except for one game which is Pokemon Y on the 3DS. Its the last game he played and so he's still attached to his recent accomplishments in game. Onity was sorta bummed cuz he wanted to play after seeing the trailer, so Tyler got him Pokemon X to play. He figured Onity would like the legendary in that game more anyway.
Onity will play anyway game that you hand him out of curiosity, but he takes a liking to simulations, rhythm, and puzzle games.
Tyler likes Adventure and Role Play type games as well as combat based games.
Mike isn't much for dialogue and likes games that are more simple and predictable, such as racing games.
Imagine they save up and buy GTA 5 because Tyler wants a game he can fuck everything up in. Imagine somehow Onity is able to play multiplayer with him and they fuck shit up together.
Imagine they'll take turns and chase each other down trying to kill the other.
Mike will sit and watch because he finds their shenanigans hilarious.
