In the AU where Onimikeler has a kid(s), the trio gets major support from Tyler's sister and parents. Mrs. Crisson is a mother so can provide support from an experienced point of view. Rose has always been supportive and though she is inexperienced with kids, she is much more confident around them then her brother.

When Tyler and Rose were young, their dad, Diego Crisson, worked a lot as his wife stayed home with them. He of course spent a lot of time with them but he never got the amount of time that Amy Crisson did. (And like Tyler now, he used to have a fear that he'd mess up and be a terrible father, the fear fading as his kids grew older) But now that he's nearing retirement and has more free time he can spend more time with not only his kids but his grandkids, and he takes advantage of this. He adores his grandkids and spoils them more then anybody else. He plays with them when they come over for dinner or to spend the night, giving onimikeler some free time. He'll buy them toys or clothes within reasonable price, he'll draw with them, make them food, watch the same episode of barbie 1000 times over. He's still a pretty quiet man, but is enjoying his time as a (grand)parent sooo much more.

This surprises Tyler and Rose as they didn't realize how involved their dad wanted to be, but Amy is really happy to see her husband step out of his small comfort zone to help his family.

In turn, the kid(s) love their grandpa and sometimes, when not one of their three dads will let the kid have an extra cookie for dessert, Diego will.
