"(YN)!" You heard your mother call from downstairs.
"Yeah Mom?" You called back. Eevee, who was laying next to you, twitched its ears and yawned. You reached over and pet its back, feeling it purr under your hand.
"Come here please!"
"Okay...! C'mon Eevee." You said, shutting your laptop and smiling at your friend.
When your mother heard of a Egg being discovered at the daycare the same day you were born, she knew it was meant to be.
"Mom?" You asked as you walked downstairs; Eevee at your heels.
"In the kitchen!" She answered. When you walked into the room, you could immediately tell she was hiding something.
"Mom-"
"Listen sweetheart." She interrupted. "I trusted my gut, giving Eevee to you to take care of when you were younger," She paused and smiled. "and I don't regret it one bit. You've done an amazing job!"
"Really?" Your face lit up, any signs of worry leaving your face entirely.
"Yep!" Your mother grinned. "Which is why..."
She put a Thunder Stone, Fire Stone, and Water Stone on the counter.
"It's time for Eevee to evolve! So take your pick..."
