She came to him in a hurry and hugged him causing him to blush.

"All alone I thought Taeyong asked you out for a date," she said letting go of him.

"Taeyong? Who is this? Oh wait the boyffiend that doesn't have time fof me," Jae sounded miserable.

"Oh, he's bussy with his album," she lowered her head.

"And who afe you with?" asked Jae.

"Me myself and I, the constant clique this year," Lauren's eyes became sad.

She grabbed Jae under the arm and they began to skate around the ring.

"Welcome in the club," he muttered.

"I've heard about Taeil it's so sad, I wish there is something we could do to help him," she said and Jae shivered.

Yes a date with Lauren might cheer him up.

"At least he's not giving in," said the girl and Jae stopped abruptly causing them to nearly fall on the ice.

"What do you mean?" ha asked.

"Oh don't you know?" Lauren was confused.

She took her gloves off and found her phone. She browsed the internet and handed the phone to Jae.

"He he will sing at the Future Star Song Contest, he's on the list," she said pointing at Taeil's name between a lot of vocalists and bands. "It's a prestigious contest, only the best singers and bands in the country can perform, looks like his audition was successful," she smiled. "No wonder he has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard."

Jae glanced at the screen feeling strange.

Why hasn't Taeil told him or Doyoung about it? Wasn't it a good news between all the bad ones and he felt pain inside again.

"Maybe he wanted to make it a surprise," said Lauren glancing at his face.

"Tfust me no, he bafely talks to us since..." Jae swallowed.

"But it's a big event some producers or managers might be there," said Lauren. "There is also price money so it could help him out."

"Yeah I guess," Jae gave the phone back to her.

He was suddenly mad at Taeil he should have heard it from him.

"Anyway, let's move it's a little cold," Lauren grabbed him under the arm again and they moved their feet on the ice.

Jae wasn't good at skating but the girl was amazing, still she adjusted to his tempo and never complained.

"I had a few sweet dates here with Yuta last year," her eyes glittered when she spoke the boy's name and Jae knew it was hopeless.

"Whefe is he?" he asked just to be nice.

"Oh he was here, two days ago," red blushes covered Lauren's cheeks. "Unfortunately he flew to Japan to visit his grandparents, so we will probably meet in September next year," her smile faded.

"It's nine mofe months," said Jae and knew it wasn't very delicate.

"I know," she took a breath. "I'm busy anyway."

"What if you go to London?" asked Jae and Lauren glanced at a couple that was kissing not far from them.

"I don't know about London yet," she said. "Maybe he will go with me, there are also opportunities for new style dancers in London. What about you?" she asked.

"I have no idea," Jae decied to put all his thoughts about the future on delay as long as he could.

"Why don't you want to tell the world you and Taeyong are together?" asked Lauren and Jae tripped over his skates and landed on his butt. "Oh so sorry," she helped him up and he rubbed his back. "Let's sit," Lauren helped him towards a bench and Jae felt pain when he sat down.
