Jae was staring at the invitation unable to understand what had just happened, but later in the evening it turned out Ten and Doyoung had also  received invitations, so Jae reckoned Taeyong and Taeil had them too. His mom was miserable, she had been googling Sicheng's father for two hours and even calling his office. She was pretty upset, she told Jae he has no idea what kind of people these are but when his father took his side she finally gave in and let him attend.

So on the 31st of December Jae was on the airport with Doyoung and they took the morning flight to Sicheng's city.

It was very strange for Jae, he was afraid he's using the boy's friendship, but Doyoung tried to convince him it's way better than movies home alone, so four hours later they were picked up by a man in a chauffeur uniform.

"This is life," said Doyoung when they were sitting in the expensive car admiring the views. Doyoung was taking a lot of pictures but Jae seemed miserable. Taeyong has never written back when he had told him he's going to China.

"In a month he will be all yours again, we know these phases, I guess Taeyong is the guy who needs his distance from time to time," said Doyoung but it wasn't helpful.

The car took them to a palace like villa Jae thought could be used as two hotels but not a home. He felt even more weird when the man grabbed their suitcases and a butler showed them to their guest-rooms. They were walking along one of the long halls with golden ribbing and modern couches every fifty meters when someone ran to them and hugged Jae tightly.

He soon recognized the bushy blonde hair that looked so bad on him and the little teeth of his friend.

"Happy, ffiends here," Sicheng ran to Doyoung and squeezed him as tightly as Jae, and the boy laughed.

Sicheng followed them to their rooms then jumped on Jae's bed while he placed one of his legs way above his ear and Jae giggled.

"He's really happy to see us I recon," Doyoung shook his head.

"Afe we the only ones hefe?" asked Jae and Sicheng blinked a few times. "Hefe, me Doyoung and?"

"Oh," the boy lifted his leg even higher behind his head causing Doyoung to sit on a chair from dizziness. "Ten here, morning yesterday, Taeil here too,"

"Taeil!" Doyoung jumped up and looked at Jae.

So Taeil decided to take the invitation and even Ten came from Thailand.

"See my room?" asked Sicheng jumping from the bed as if a blink of a second ago his leg wasn't inches above his head.

"Sufe," muttered Jae and Doyoung nodded.

So the boy hurried before them giving them explanations on things during the way in each possible language he knew causing both to giggle. He lived south from them so there wasn't any snow here and it wasn't so cold too. Jae liked this change a lot. The house was enormous and Jae guessed he would get lost in there on his own while Doyoung was counting the right and left turns on their way probably making a map in his head.

"You should give us maps fof youf house," laughed Jae.

"Map?" Sicheng blinked and shrugged then continued to talk about something they barely understood when he was walking them to his room.

He opened a door to a huge apartment with everything they could think off including a flat screen TV the size of a small cinema.

His room was rather messy and to Jae's surprise he saw Ten and Taeil who were talking quietly when they were sitting on the bed.

"Boys!" Ten jumped up and hurried to them while Taeil stayed were he was.

He nodded slightly catching Jae's glance and Jae knew he was still mad about the evening with Lauren.

But Sicheng invited them to sit and Jae took a palce next to Ten on the bed.

"So you all came, what if I invited you over for New Years Eve?" said Doyoung sarcastically.

"Would you include a flight tickets?" asked Ten and Doyoung went red.

"Don't argue," whispered Taeil.

"I'm just joking around," Ten tried to smile and Jae felt their friendships was tested a lot lately.

But they tried to avoid an argument even if the moods were down.

They spent the afternoon being lazy and playing computer games, watching movies and eating but soon the evening came near and they prepared for the party. Jae got his best shirt out of his suitcase and Doyoung tried a new sweater on. Ten preferred some colors tonight, he had a very original blazer jacket with palm trees, while Taeil wore a back t-shirt to a leather jacket what was probably going with his mood. They met in the corridor at 8 p.m. and Doyoung led them, he somehow was the only one who had managed to remember the way through the labyrinth of halls and staircases.

Soon they heard house and funk music and Ten began to move to the beat. The ballroom was huge and crowded. Jae saw people in all kinds of crazy disguise. Doyoung tensed glancing at his plain black sweater but they decided to not to worry and have fun. This was the motto for the night.

"How did you know whefe to go?" asked Jae leaning closer to Doyoung when Ten disappeared on the dance floor.

"Here, he made a map for you, but I guess I'm better in map reading," Doyoung took a piece of paper out of his pants and unfolded it showing a self made map.

Sicheng had even painted little emojis and hearts at the bottom and wrote a huge 'Jae map' on top.

"That's sweet," said Jae.

"I guess he likes you the most of us all," Doyoung shook his head and Jae knew he was probably right but it was only because Sicheng had met him first and it was Jae who introduced him to the rest, and took care of him at school.

But Doyoung glanced at the map then hid it walking to the table with food and snacks.

"You know sometimes I dreamed about being so rich, but when I see this I guess I wouldn't know what to do with my life," Doyoung grabbed some cake and a glass of juice.

Jae glanced around when a few beautiful girls walked by smiling to them and giggling.

Taeil stopped right next to Jae, he seemed bothered. He also wasn't in the mood for a party. Jae tried to tell himself that Taeyong was busy and to have a great time but he found it hard to concentrate on anything else.

He was even ready to check his phone to see if Taeyong has performed yet although he swore he won't do it, but in this moment someone approached them and Jae needed to blink a few times to recognize the person. It was Sicheng but his hair was now all bubble gum pink and he was wearing a fluffy white jacket, that glittered at each move, to golden pants and huge sunglasses. He smiled brightly.
