The streaks of sunlight blew in through my window smack bang during the crack of the morning and I yawned, coughing out like the non-morning person I was. In all honesty, I hate mornings, sometimes wishing people would skip the period of 'morning' and go straight to the afternoon. But today, I had something to tell my dad.

"Dad!" I called him, rubbing my eyes as I sat up in bed, "Your not going to believe the dream I had!"

"There were these gang members and this narcissistic asshole of a crime boss called Xavier Dante!" I blabbered, turning over to stretch with my eyes sealed. I wasn't a morning person as stated before, so I take a while to open my eyes and welcome the day. "And I got kidnapped! It was horrible, especially Xavier. Geez it was such a weird dream,"

I concluded, prying my eyes open when I wasn't hearing a response from my dad agreeing with my bizarre dream. I gasped, staring at the exact room Natasha had lead me to sleep in my dream. "Or maybe I'm still having it,"

Suddenly someone cleared their throat and I jumped, turning to glare at the asshole leaning smugly against my threshold. Xavier Dante. Who else? Oh god, so it wasn't a dream.

"Shit, it's real," I slapped my forehead for being so naive. It wasn't a dream, it was the real damn thing. Screw my life.

Xavier hummed in amusement confirming my thoughts and he casually stepped forwards, aiming towards the bed. My eyes widened and I suddenly screamed, scrambling away from him as I huddled up the corner of my bed farthest from him

"You sure create a racket in the morning Sky," He spoke, a smug grin plant across his face as he took another step forward inching towards me.

"It's Skyler!" I protested with a shriek and threw a pillow at him, "And stay away from me you gun wielding creep!" I tossed another pillow at his face. One he effortlessly caught and placed back, sighing at the lame attempts to actually harm him.

"Get up," He grunted sternly towering over at the other end of my pure white sheeted bed. He's an ass but he sure has taste in bedrooms. A dirty thought crossed my mind at what I had just admitted. Xavier and bedrooms...

He's a crime boss Skyler, keep your head in the game!

"You aren't the boss of me," I piped up defiantly, clutching the sheets and stuck my tongue at him childishly.

"My house, my rules," He shot back gruffly and I pouted furrowing my eyebrow, "So get up and make yourself useful, before I decided to practice my gun aiming," He adds, teasingly brushing his hand over his long sleeved shirt, which probably has a few several pistols under it...along with a 6-pack and pecs...

Head in the game girl!

"How am I suppose to make myself useful?" I quizzed, my gaze wandering out to the seemingly clear front yard of the mansion. The idea of escape loomed in my mind until the guards came into view. Clearly, my brain wants to be blown to bits, so there's no escaping right now.
