He lurched forward and grasped my arm, whiplashing me towards him just as something metal blew into the wall where my head would've been in front of. People started screaming at the sound of it and started scattering everywhere in mass hysteria. "Fuck!" He cursed, and I slowly turned to look at the bullet hole my head had just missed with wide eyes.
No. fudging. way.
"We're under attack," Xavier mumbled, confirming my dread as he replaced the phone he scooped into his hand with a loaded revolver.
I'm going to so die today.
----------------
Screams echoed everywhere and the sound of panicking civilians playing their part in mass hysteria was definitely drowning out my sanity. Two more gunshots fired and Xavier grabbed my arm, sprawling me down on the ground as the shrieking increased.
My eyes were wide and my mouth was hanging open like a beaten store sign as I tried to register what the hell was going on in my small duck brain. "There's an emergency exit just by the restrooms on the ground floor," Xavier explained crouching down on his knees as he scanned his accurate surroundings. I thought he didn't know this mall. What the...? "Sky if you wanna live, then we gotta get to that exit,"
Only I wasn't listening to a think he was saying. We are under attack! We're fudging under attack!! "Holy fudging popsicles shit!" The panic had finally settled into my mind and it had come in one hard blow, "Xavier we're gonna die!"
"Sky!" He grabbed my arm, trying to get me to stop screaming like these scare civilians were, "Skyler! We're not gonna die! Just trust me!"
"I don't trust you!" I squealed, flapping my arms around as I tried to catch my breath, "You're holding a freaking gun, Xavier!" He tried to grasp my other hand but I had successfully smacked him away, continuing to have my panic attack.
Gritting his teeth in annoyance, he shot out grabbing my face in between his warm large hand and I gasped. It was bliss, Xavier, cupping my face as his dark green eyes scanned through my usually weird brown ones. My face heated up instantly at the close proximity his face had with mine and my panic attack had gone silent and in its place Niagara Falls was flowing.
This is the part where we kiss...
And then get married and have 33 babies and live happily ever after!
Only that never happened with Xavier.
"Man, the fuck up Skyler!" He hissed in my face instead, before shoving me away. What...the...heck just happened?! God what an asshole! "Now get up, before I kill you here, right now!" I jumped at the sound of his pissed commanding voice before glaring up at his buff frame.
"Why would you kill me?" I croaked out innocently.
"Because if they get you, it would be easy to torture our whereabout out of an idiot." He spat back, his eyes going back to scanning the tsunami of people running for their lives.
And idiot?!
What the hell is his problem?!
God this little weedwhacker! I hate him.
"A blind spot, perfect." He mumbled to himself before pulling back the safety on his gun, "Let's go," How dare he tell me to man the fuck up, call me an idiot and still expect me to follow his orders?!
"I'm not going," I yelled, crossing my arms over my chest stubbornly. Within a split second, the loaded revolver in Xavier's hand was pressed against my temple threatening. "Never mind, lead the way." He smirked at my almost instantly submission, before putting his plan into action.
