Arianna's POV

"So how did your meeting with Professor Wilson go?" Monica asked as we were sitting up in the family skybox for Tristan and Zaire. It was halftime and we were just waiting for the game to start over.

"Bad" I bit my lip nervously. I know she's going to flip when I tell her.

"How so? You love that science crap so I know you can't be failing."

"Well, since the semester is almost over instead of having us take an exam he's making us become an understudy for an upper class pre-med or medical student."

"Again where does the bad part come in?" she asked

"He gets to choose our overseers." I sighed

"Okay, do I know your overseer? Is she a groupie bitch for Tristan or something?"

"Nope, it's Chase." I confessed while she gasped

"Chase that goes with gold digging cake face bitch Alicia? Theta Nu Chase?" I nodded.

"Oh damn. A bitch just can't catch a break. So what are you going to do?"

"I can't get out of this, I tried! Professor Wilson won't let anyone change their mentors." I was almost on the verge of begging for that man to give me another mentor. Ever since Mon told me about them not getting along and the club incident I have stayed clear of both Alicia and Chase, plus on top on everything he constantly tries to flirt with me. How am I going to spend 3 hours five days week with him at the clinic?

"What did Tristan say?"

"I didn't tell him yet. He's been so focused and happy since we left Atlanta, I don't want to disturb that." I shrugged. It's been a week since we got back and Tristan couldn't happier than now. Everything seems to be fine; he even stopped waking up in the middle of the night from those nightmares. I don't want to be the one breaking his focus especially with the playoffs starting next week.

"You have to tell him, if anyone knows the consequences of keeping secrets from your man it's me. We don't need Tristan trying to kick in our door too." She laughed but I knew she was serious.

"I plan on telling him I just have to find the right words and timing. I can't just come out and say "Guess what I'm going to spending 3 hours with your arch enemy."

"If that's what going to get the info out then do it. If he finds out later or has someone else tell him he's going to go ballistic. He will see you not telling him as you lying to him and you and I both know trust means everything to that boy." She said to me. I still wasn't hopeful.

"Tell him it's going to be fine. Tristan will understand." She assured and hugged me.

We let go just as the boys we taking the field again and the 3rd quarter was beginning so our attention was immediately focused back on the game.

It was the 4th quarter with about a minute and 30 seconds left in the game. Defense had just left the field and the boys were taking their positions. This was definitely the hardest game of the season so far. The game was versus Baylor and their defense was about as good as ours hence why the score was so low 12-9 with us being down. Tristan couldn't run through the defensive line and they were blocking all of Zaire's passes.

The whistle was blown and the play started only Tristan wasn't on the outside running or trying to get open. Tristan ran back behind the offensive line, the ball was snapped to him while Zaire snuck behind the defense and was wide open in the open field while Baylor's players were scrimmaging around. Tristan drew back and let the ball fly for about 20 yards before Zaire caught it in the perfect catch and galloped into the end zone. The stadium went crazy and me and Mon jumped up screaming and cheering.
