Later that day, Emily felt faint once she finished answering a call. "I'm just going to get some water Jake." "Alright then." "Can I get you a drink?" "Same as you please." She nodded as she left the office and went to the staff room and went into the kitchen and got two glasses of water.
She looked to some other colleagues and smiled at them and they smiled back. She turned to go back to the office when she suddenly collapsed and broke the glasses as she fell. "Emily?" They approached her and one of them left the room to tell Jake.
Colleagues saw Jake appear a few seconds later as he rushed to her side. "Emily, can you hear me?" When he didn't get a reply, he saw the glass around her. "Let me through." He knelt down beside her and checked her pulse. "Call an ambulance. We need to make sure her baby is still there after she fell."
