Shaun received a phone call and he put the call on speaker so Evan, Emily and Lizzy could hear the conversation. "Charlie is with the police. I've shot him so he's going to hospital to be treated first." "At least the police have him. Emily's relieved." "I think we all are. When you're ready, come home." "We're on our way dad." He hung up as they made their way to their house.
"Dad. Lizzy is here. She came over to help." "Hi Lizzy." "Hi uncle Grant. Auntie Caitlin." "Hi Lizzy. How's your dad?" "He's fine thanks. He's working late tonight. He said he'd be home at eleven." "And he works?" "From six o'clock in the morning until eleven o'clock at night."

Once Charlie saw a doctor about the bullet wounds to his left shoulder, he went straight back to the police station for further questioning and to date when his next trial was. A police officer told him it would be in a couple of days.
Charlie sat in the police cell and sat down, thinking about what he did. "Oh Emily. What have I done to you?" He asked himself. "I promise to give you a better life. If I could go back in time so that I could make it look like I didn't do it, you'd still be with me after university."
