Brooklyn's POV:

If there is one thing a Knight knows how to do, it's how to flash once glamorous without seeming to be flashy.

Now, if there's one thing a Hawk and a Young knows how to do, it's how to be extremely flashy without the vibe of being so stuck up.

Put those three kinds of people together and you might just end up with an out of hand party that everyone will be dying to attend... well almost everybody.

It's no shocker that the party they were organizing was for me and it was definitely a no brainer that I had no say in anything. For the past week, I was banished from even standing so close as to a mile from my house forcing me to stay with Chloe. I would have stayed with Aaron for a day or two however, he was being extremely emotional being all happy and stuff.

Rubbing my hand down my face, I couldn't help but to sigh as I flapped down on Chloe's bed before checking my golden wrist watch.

The dreaded time said that it was a quarter to 12 P.M on the 31 of March, meaning that at my house the party was in full swing. For some odd reason my parents and friends thought it was a good idea to start my birthday party on the 31 so that when the first of April came I would be having the "time of my life" with strangers that claimed to be my friends. Chloe even told me to get dressed before 11, so that when she did pick me up I would be ready to go. Me, being me, decided against wearing a dress and decided to keep it simple. I went with black dress up pants and shoes, a greyish button up shirt, a black bowtie, and some black suspenders. I wasn't really up to wearing a suit so I left it hanging in Chloe's closet. Knowing that it would probably get hot in my house, I didn't really work on my hair so I kept it up in a high ponytail.

Looking at my wrist watch again, I couldn't help but to groan when I saw that only a minute had passed. I was just able to call Chloe to see where she was, when I heard a honk from outside Chloe's window.

"Thank the Gods." I mumbled, to myself as I got up from Chloe's bed and headed downstairs.

I didn't bother in yelling out goodbye to Chloe's parents because they weren't at home; they were at my party.

Opening up the front door and locking it behind me, I turned out to see a black Mercedes waiting for me. Smiling, I jogged over to the car and opened the passenger's door before getting in.

"Why isn't someone looking great?"

Immediately smiling to myself, I turned my head to the side to see Chloe with a huge smile on her face.

"Damn Brook you're growing up so fast!"

Quickly turning my head to the backseat I couldn't help but to feel my cheeks hurt more when I noticed that Aaron was in the car as well. I should have known beforehand if he was, by looking from the outside, but the car's windows were tinted.

"How you feeling?" I heard Chloe ask, as she took the car off of park and starting again. Turning around to face the front, I couldn't help, but to bite on my bottom lip.

"Nervous, kind of."

"I would be shitting bricks if I was the one turning 18." Aaron chuckled, as he leaned forward a bit so that he could see us.

"I kind of just want this day to pass as well as tomorrow." I found myself saying.

"Why?" Chloe asked, as she took a quick glance at me before looking forward again.

Shrugging my shoulders, I thought about the question for a bit before answering.

"I'm no longer a kid in the eyes of the world. They already found out who I am and are the odds that they find out a month before I was turning 18."
