"So can we?" I ask on the phone.

"Yeah, we'll definitely schedule a meeting up. Keep talking with him, will ya?"

"Definitely will!"

"Alright, we'll see you soon Renegade."

"You too Max."

The call hangs up. After last night's havoc, my conclusion is that Grayson isn't over me. Along with that, I'm also not clearly over what he's done to me. But, Kaspar. I can't keep leading him on like this. He has a good heart. It's early in the morning. Tonight, I'm going to break up with him.

I wake up Cam early because I need to talk to him about this.

"Can we go out to eat pancakes?" I ask.

"Sure! I'll go wa-"

"No, no. No need to. Just us. I want to talk to you about something."

"Yeah, yeah sure. I'll go get ready right now."

I exit the room and I hear a ping. A message from Grayson.

So how are you feeling?

I'm feeling unsure right now about everything.

Oh, Grayson, you're going to be in for a treat. Little do you know, I'm in New Jersey. And we will collaborate one day. Just, not in a beautiful way, sadly. Why did I have to fall for you again? I was perfectly fine with loving Kaspar but then you just had to reprise in my life again.

"Alright, I'm ready," Cameron says to me as he puts his shoes on. I write a note saying that Cameron and I went out to eat breakfast and that they shouldn't be worried. I grab the keys and we go in the car.

"Chris will be fine with Kaspar," I assure him.

"True. They're both heavy sleepers anyways."
